These are some of my favorite kind of shots to come up with. They set an atmosphere, but then invite the viewer’s imagination to fill in the complete story. In this case, (hopefully) the happy & weird vast landscape evokes questions like: "what impossibly big, possibly abominable creatures built these giant snowmen?" and makes the viewer’s mind wander off into their own imaginative answers. -Matty

Christmas Animation Green Screen Making Of
With our long history and big love of sculpting, models and old Popeye cartoons, we really wanted to combine physical elements with traditional animation for our DAF Trucks N.V. Christmas short. So we spent a few days of filming and doing stopmotion in front of a green screen. Here’s a little behind the scenes peek to show you how we then married this footage with the 2d art to create the final look of the film 👀
