31mag is a multicultural project of partecipative journalism that produces and fosters quality information “from below”. The website is an online newspaper that covers news from the Netherlands. The newsroom is international and works on different thematic projects with a European scope. A group of media experts is at the core of the publica

tions of 31mag, but the projects includes also academics and citizens interested in building a critical perspective that differs from the mainstream media landscape.
31mag has an open and participative structure. A strong point of +31mag is its innovative approach to journalistic languages and communication formats.
