All good things take time:

Our wildest journey that started over 3,5 years ago. What a ride it has been, but we couldn’t be happier to finally be expecting this miracle of a little human now! 💛

For the past few years we’ve been trying & hoping to get to this point. Which unfortunately led us to four heart breaking miscarriages and finding out that I, Bo, have an auto immune disease called APS (antiphospholipid syndrome), causing these losses.

We’ve been in doubt about sharing this, because it feels so personal and vulnerable.
A fertility journey has a big impact on life in general. There were times when we were silently struggling at all fronts; social relationships, work and even here on social media.
But we are so grateful to be blessed with the kind, loving and understanding people around us to turn to for support after each loss and in between.

Although it has been challenging, in the midst of it all we kept each other sane and still standing and I’m so so proud of us for that! 🥰

Slowly daring to dream of life with the three of us now.
Bonaire will always hold a special place in our hearts. But for now, let’s hop on that plane and go back home babyyy✈️ 🏡

On a night dive in Bonaire, we spotted a Pseudoceros bicolor, a species of flatworm, gliding over the sand. These marine flatworms are known for their vibrant colors, typically featuring a black body with bright yellow and white margins. They are usually found in tropical waters and can grow up to about 8 cm in length. While they may look like nudibranchs, they’re actually a different type of organism entirely. Seeing one at night was a nice find, as they’re not always easy to spot.

It's all in these little moments 🌴☀️

Weird how the simplest, little moments can hold the best memories sometimes. So grateful for all the memories we have made along the years. What a ride filled with adventures, visiting new places & meeting new people.

Yet, when we're bringing up memories most of the time it's: "Remember that crazy good cappuccino on a that random terrace in Sibenik, enjoying our very first scooter ride on Langkawi 🥹 , that first long walk in spring back home in Dordrecht or this blissful slow morning on Santa Cruz beach."

What's your favourite, simple little memory you will hold onto forever? Spill it in the comments 🤩👇

Driving along the salt flats 🚙💨

One of our favorite things to do is driving around this side of the island and taking in this beautiful and sobering view.
These huts were built in the 19th century for enslaved workers. These small, basic structures symbolize the harsh conditions endured by the enslaved and serve as reminders of the island’s history of slavery.
