Last Friday I watched on TV the grand opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris. We al watched in the end how Celine Dion performed live that beautiful song Hymne à l'amour from Edith Piaf. 🥰

14 Years a go i got the unique opportunity to film from almost that same spot (Celine was on the rooftop of the restaurant, i stood before below it haha) On the Eiffel tower on the 1st floor the fireworks for the 14th of july National Day of France.

It was arranged for us by Fêtes et Feux (thanks!) the fireworks company who did the fireworks show that night. So together with only some staff members we watched and filmed on a empty Eifel tower the show. A ones in a life time experience! 😁🔥

And o my lord.. big (spanish) shells exploded on the same eye level standing on a big steel structure.. The old Iron Lady shaked and resonated as the big shells exploded loud and hard in front of her. The video of this unique adventure can be watched below:

The legend - The Lichterfest Bodenwerder ! - returns after a four-year break! The highlight of the event, which has been famous for many decades, is a 30-minute music-synchronised multimedia show of fireworks, lasers and light over a width of more than 240 meters along the Weser. 41 firework positions, 12 state-of-the-art laser systems with 70W, a multitude of spotlights and jet skis equipped with pyrotechnics transform the night sky over Bodenwerder into an impressive sea of sparks and lights on 10th August 2024! Experience one of the most elaborate multimedia shows in Germany in 2024.
