EARLY BIRD CALL FOR HETEROTOPIA! 📢

As our editors are hard at work to bring our first annual issue of Atopia, we invite all early birds to join our following exploration into the captivating concept of heterotopia!

The term, introduced by Foucault, encompasses a diverse range of spaces that challenge and complicate our understanding of the world. Heterotopias, initially explored through six types—spaces of deviation, spaces of illusion, spaces of crisis, spaces of accumulation, spaces of juxtaposition, and spaces of emancipation—offer a unique lens through which we challenge conventional norms and perceive the world.

Join us in delving into this intriguing subject by sharing your work, whether in the form of a critical essay, research paper, case study, project, photo montage, or any other artistic expression.
We welcome submissions from students, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of urbanism, landscape, and related disciplines.

We invite you to submit an abstract of up to 250 words, summarizing your contribution, along with a brief author biography. Kindly forward your submissions to [email protected] by November 14th, 2023.
