Last year, Tricky Thread was in the fortunate circumstance of being able to take a trip to the Caribbean island of Bonaire. This amazing trip resulted in the project “Mamparia Kutu.

In 2023, I conducted a project on capes and cloaks freely inspired on Maggie Smith’s role as Professor Minerva McGonagall.

The thirteenth project of the 'Dynamic weaving' series is based on a story of Alcyone, the daughter of Ae**us, the god of the wind, from Greek mythology. Alcyone was turned into a kingfisher by Zeus. In the Netherlands, the Kingfisher is called Ice Bird. The whole story can be read in issue 22 of WoolWench TinyStudio Creative Life Magazine. It revolves around the personal and professional life of Phryne Fisher, a glamorous private investigator in 1920s Melbourne.
