Prachtig nummer van m’n held David Gilmour z’n nieuwe album wat in september uitkomt. Dit nummer is een samenwerking van hem met zijn dochter Romany. Ze zingt echt prachtig. Heel ‘kwetsbaar’ maar sterk. Een mooie combinatie dus.

Hoe is “French Connection” ontstaan en wie is Mister AAC?Mister AAC is na overleg de gekozen artiesten naam van producer/writer Richard Bouma. AAC staat voor “Accept Ajust & Conquer” afgeleid van de Amerikaanse Mariniers slogan “Improvise, Ajust & Conquer” Een -mindset- die helpt bij het overwinnen van lichamelijke en geestelijke tegenslag in het heetst van de strijd. “French Connection” is een track die vorig jaar als een halffabrikaat op de plank lag zonder tekst en zang. Richard alias Mister AAC vroeg Beckster (een getalenteerde vriendin van zijn zoon) om hier een tekst op te maken. Theme: Vrienden die elkaar na lange tijd elkaar ontmoeten, gaan stappen, alleen de klik is er niet meer😌 De DJ in de club is zo lekker aan het draaien dat ze alleen maar nog kon denken aan .. dansen !💃
Beckster heeft een leuke Franstalige tekst gemaakt omdat we de ‘Parijs setting’ in mind hadden en de backing vocals zijn samen met haar vriendin Sara gedubbeld. Geniet er binnenkort van en bewaar alvast de pre-save. 20 september is de track op alle streaming media te vinden! En … it’s a banger 💥.
