“Good Luck” is the second book of a trilogy that started with “Good Morning”, published in 2021.

As written in the subtitles; some drawings, and a story. Common things. Drawings as memories and memories as flashes adhered to images. Things that happen, with neither significance nor lasting as long as it takes a ship to cross a bridge or a cloud to block the sun’s rays.

« Yummy » comes from a small notebook that accompanied me on my travels to Buenos Aires, where I sketched in cafés during conversations with friends. In those moments, I discovered the story of Yiya Murano, known as « the Monserrat poisoner, » who murdered her friends after inviting them for tea. This haunting tale inspired me to continue illustrating tables laden with food and coffee, capturing the tension between conviviality and danger.

Featuring a rocky landscape on one side, this leporello reveals a mapped selection of rocks on the reverse. These rocks surrounding Wrac’h island are only visible at low tide.
Le Chaos was born out of the exhibition “Roch Gored: mapping chaos around the lighthouse.”

‘Snack Bar Fontaine’ is a visual study of the diverse and often unassuming greasy spoons a.k.a caffs found in and around the city of London. Adorned with motley decorations and marked by the wear of decades of use, these caffs give a glimpse into the city’s storied culinary past.
