Our Story
Green Studios is a fully-equipped, recording + rehearsal studio located in the basement of the Volkshotel in Amsterdam Oost. It consists of a spacious live room with 4 smaller recording booths connected to a master control room. It is equipped with 26 recording tracks of Universal Audio / Midas quality and a wide range of mic + amp choices. Our studio has a musician-friendly set up - great for rehearsals and jam sessions, as well as live recordings for both live instruments and electronic. Feel free to explore + experiment. At the Werkplaats upstairs they serve great coffee until 1am every night, you’ll see people come in an out of the DOKA on the weekends, the CANVAS bar on the 7th floor has a great view of the city, and you will have access to the hot tub + sauna facility on the rooftop (they have rental towels + swim wear too!).. With cheap parking right beside the doors to the Broedplaats, it’s easy to see why Green Studios is the perfect place for everything musical - from your next mixing session or band rehearsal, to a place for masterclasses in music or even your next experimental creative project. **You can rent the space according to use - feel free to ask for pricing + take a look at our website.
