Lotus Evija electric hypercar

Lotus is targeting a sub-3.0 second 0-62mph launch, with 186mph from a standstill arriving in just nine seconds. Some context a new Ferrari SF90 Stradale will do 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds, while a McLaren Speedtail will do 0-186mph in 12.8sec. The Evija will have a 200mph-plus V-max.

The new F8 Spider keeps the same 3902cc dry-sump V8 as the tin-top F8 Tributo.
