We are very happy with the result we have achieved so far. Your support was invaluable in helping us achieve our primary goal which will allow us to finish the film.

Donations are still very welcome though! Every additional donation will help us make the film even better, as well as help us set up distribution for the film. This will help us show the film to as many people as possible, which in turn will help shed light on the important topic of burnout.

We're very excited to start the next phase of ‘Outsider’, an animated documentary installation by Jan-Dirk Bouw, challenging the daily rat race that we've all come to experience as 'normal'. The project is created in partnership with the Outsider Art Galerie in Amsterdam.

Central to 'Outsider' is the story of Hans, a former psychiatric caretaker, who starts to question his metrics of success in life following a traumatic incident. In conversation with the artists of the Outsider Art Galerie, Hans searches for ways and permission to color his existence more freely.

We're happily embarking on this hybrid journey with an amazing team:
Direction/script by Jan-Dirk Bouw, production by Tünde Vollenbroek & Yvonne Van Ulden, art direction by Iris Frankhuizen, sound design by Bram Meindersma. Development funded by Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst & Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, supported by AniDox.

Our project 'Good Enough: Burnout Diary' received the Nederlands Film Festival jury's special mention of the Camalot/Filmmore Emerging Cinema Award! Recognitions like this give us a new portion of energy as we steadily work towards the next phase of animatic :) Thanks a lot to the jury & organisation of the Holland Film Meeting for making the event happen digitally! Event organizers these days are crazy courageous... ✨

Sooooo... this happened just now! We won the Business Award with our project 'Burnout Diary', at the Stuttgart animation festival, that took place online this week. The award is for inventive strategies, and is such a great motivation to continue with the path we're on.
