Richard Rietdijk is a London-based Dutch Record Producer. He is best known for the time he spent as the synth player / sound designer in Dutch Djent metal pioneers TEXTURES (Nuclear Blast Records), sharing the stage worldwide with the like of Slipknot, Machine Head, Arch Enemy, Gojira, Tesseract, Meshuggah and Sepultura. eir first album ‘Polars’, which was awarded an Essent music award and the Devil Award by the Dutch Rock and Pop Institute. OOR Music Magazine declared the album: “The best metal album that’s ever come out of the Netherlands”. After leaving TEXTURES after a decade, Richard moved to London, UK to focus more on his music production career. Former clients including SEGA Europe and Apple Inc., Rietdijk is available for projects and is always looking for new adventures and opportunities of expressing himself in music production, recording and sound.
