Nordic Knots, New York

To mark the opening of Nordic Knots’ brand-new flagship store in SoHo, New York, Niels Hoebers created a miniature timelapse capturing the construction of the space. The project translates the full build process into a carefully crafted scaled-down world, offering a playful yet precise perspective on the making of the store.

From Mono-mash, where six monoblock chairs collide into a tangled candleholder celebrating imperfection, to Mono-stacked, four chairs rising in quiet balance with LED light, Hoebers blurs the line between function and art. Add a touch of humor with the Mini Loo Collection — tiny toilet brushes that range from pristine to disastrous, capturing the full spectrum of bathroom chaos.

Design that doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet makes a lasting impression.
