Uitgeverij BULAAQ geeft boeken uit over het Midden-Oosten, Noord-Afrika en islam. BULAAQ Publishing is a small, independent and non-religious publishing house.

De uitgeverij is in 1992 opgericht om iets te laten zien van de grote diversiteit aan maatschappelijke, politieke en culturele uitingen. We publish only in Dutch on the Middle East, North Africa and Islam in the fields of history, language, politics, poetry, prose, and children’s books. We distribute books in the Netherlands and Belgium, through wholesalers and bookshops. So far we have translated

books from Arabic, French, English, Turkish and Persian. Bookshops outside the Netherlands and Belgium can order directly through us.
