NYD was such a sweet day.

A huge thanks to everyone in attendance! and all the deejays for glowing and flowing for hours. It’s been so nice, despite the rain and bad weather it felt like the best start of the year ✨

We’re having a short party break but we’ll be back very soon. Also the bus will make it’s return v soon to its usual business 🤙

Happy New Year! 💥

Today’s the day—we will be holding the fort at Kaap from 12:00 to 00:00, and we’re absolutely buzzing for it.

A few things to note:

🍽️ The restaurant opens at 14:00, and we’ve got a wardrobe available.
🎟️ Tickets are available (last pre sale tickets now online)
We saved enough tickets at the door (via QR code only, subject to capacity.)
📍 Address: IJdijk 10, 1095 KN Amsterdam
🚶‍♂️ Public transport: Bus 37/65 or tram 26, get off at IJdijk or KNSM-laan.

Just a small glimpse of Kaap before we set sail on New Year’s Day. As you can see this venue is a place for recreational fun for grownups. Plus, it’s Persian carpet heaven ✨🧞‍♂️

See full timetable & start planning to come as early as possible to enjoy the full (bus) ride.

There’s a lovely veggie restaurant at the venue serving burgers & fries and delicious soups. If you’re into wellness and deserve a break of relaxation; There’s even a sauna on site (Bring your own towel policy)

The ADE hangover took a bit longer than expected, perhaps because it was our best one yet. No words or phrases can fully explain the magic that went down on that Saturday afternoon at Doka, you just simply had to be there. Thank you Craig Richards, for the 6 hour masterclass (& that cheeky surprise set at Phono Lake.) Thanks to everyone that participated & gave their absolute best. We praise ourselves lucky to have such a dedicated crowd and work with venues that support our vision. Our head of sound from delivered his absolute best with 4 Klipschorn speakers, making it a sonic feast in that little boathouse. These memories will stay🥰

One more sleep! We can’t wait for tomorrow. Starting at lunchtime, we kick off our very special Doka party with Craig Richards for a 6 hour trip in the basement.

Then afterwards we continue the dance at .lake for the final stretch. An ADE Saturday well spent among secret guests 👀

Doka is sold out in pre sale, but we saved some tickets at the door. Come early, so you won’t miss a thing.

Tickets for our after party at phono lake are halfway, we’ll save some tickets at the door for the late planners!

On Saturday October nineteenth, Tale of Bus & Likeminded invite you to Collisions with Craig Richards - all day long. For this special ADE occasion, we invite a true gentleman of the scene; Craig Richards, for an all-day set. Craig has been on top of our wishlist for a long time. The DJ, Artist, Houghton creative director, and long-standing fabric resident will make his debut for a Doka day-party. This will be a rare opportunity to explore the sonic depths & versatility of Craig’s record bag and musical mind for many hours.

Leaving the country side scenery to burn some rubber again 🔥 This weekend for a 2 day bender of digs & giggles.

Around 300 new titles in the shop; From cheeky white labels, fresh electro cuts, quality house and techno. The US / Swedish stuff is sounding very crisp. Also a new batch of newish tech-house/ techno for the open air hands in the air kinda pumps. On the sneak tip, a strong selection of early 90’s rave/ breakbeat 4 tha headz and a lot more to discover.

We can’t express our excitement enough for next week’s block buster.
Swipe for the team of jocks that will guide you through this Kingsday’s main festivity 👑

Leela is our latest discovery and a genuine gem to say the least. She is taking her sweet time to shape her own musical cosmos, from which she’ll share a fraction at the block party. If you know what’s good for you, press play at her Trickpony mix to get you up to speed with what we’re talking about.

YuBu has brought the heat all around town and is a tight match to have in our midst on this festive day. Expect pure hazy house from this Yummy Trax affiliate. Why not circle back and listen to a closing set of his from last year? He played right after Noizar & Daan Donk and hit the spot, right up the feels.

Hopping over from beautiful Malaga is Slowlife sensei, Cecilio. Not many deejays are this gifted and hold the amount of soul and talent Cecilio is blessed with. We can’t be happier to have him bring his magic records and smiles both during day & nighttime. Check out this classic Likeminded podcast if you are not familiar yet with the Slowlife groove.

Finalizing the daytime team is local tastemaker and Tale of Bus instigator Daan Donk, who’s locked and stocked to get this block party buzzing….

As promised, entrance for the block party is free. Special arrangements have been made in case of rainy weather. However, let’s stay positive for now! Tickets for the after party at Doka are alive and kicking in the bios.

Gearing up for a new pop-up this Saturday at the infamous drive-in, .amsterdam. Its the opening of the outside terrace, sunny weather is expected ánd international record store day is on the same agenda. That being said, we’ll bring a fresh drop of tunes and prep a few discounted crates too.✌️

Did someone say, Block Party?! On Kingsday we’ll have the absolute pleasure to set up camp, bring out the speakers and present a 16-hour trip of music & fun. In front of het Volkshotel, with the camper as backdrop, we’re ready to reclaim the streets and dance like it’s 1999 - all day long & continue the dance at Doka right after. We have our sound powered by O2 music / Klipschorn and invited a bunch of amazing deejays & local legends. Special guests flying in are; Cecilio (Slow Life) and the O Mato Soundsystem from Berlin. Cecilio will treat us on 2 sets, one outside and one at the afters. If you know, you know - this means smiles for days and above all, fire works. On this special day we’ll join forces with The Out There crew, a passionate collective that’s steadily been pushing stimulating sounds through their outdoor and indoor parties around town. We cannot wait to get this collaboration started and create the ultimate dance floor for this Kingsday endeavour.
