For this special ADE occasion, we invite a true gentleman of the scene; Craig Richards, for an all-day set. Craig has been on top of our wishlist for a long time. The DJ, Artist, Houghton creative director, and long-standing fabric resident will make his debut for a Doka day-party. This will be a rare opportunity to explore the sonic depths & versatility of Craig’s record bag and musical mind for many hours.

Leaving the country side scenery to burn some rubber again 🔥 This weekend for a 2 day bender of digs & giggles.

Around 300 new titles in the shop; From cheeky white labels, fresh electro cuts, quality house and techno. The US / Swedish stuff is sounding very crisp. Also a new batch of newish tech-house/ techno for the open air hands in the air kinda pumps. On the sneak tip, a strong selection of early 90’s rave/ breakbeat 4 tha headz and a lot more to discover.

Leela is our latest discovery and a genuine gem to say the least. She is taking her sweet time to shape her own musical cosmos, from which she’ll share a fraction at the block party. YuBu has brought the heat all around town and is a tight match to have in our midst on this festive day. Expect pure hazy house from this Yummy Trax affiliate. Why not circle back and listen to a closing set of his from last year? He played right after Noizar & Daan Donk and hit the spot, right up the feels.

Hopping over from beautiful Malaga is Slowlife sensei, Cecilio. Not many deejays are this gifted and hold the amount of soul and talent Cecilio is blessed with. Finalizing the daytime team is local tastemaker and Tale of Bus instigator Daan Donk, who’s locked and stocked to get this block party buzzing….

ADE bus memories 💛 Major thx to everyone who came for a dig. It’s been a wet and cold one this year. That didn’t stopped us for having much fun and making new friends. Thanks for hosting us once again with your kind staff and groovy parking spot. The bus is having a break now but will hit the road (jack) again in December. Until then, children of the rave, best behave and don’t forget how lucky you are✌️

🔊 Unveiling the next wave of sonic sorcery for our ADE extravaganza next Saturday. Joe Delon tipped us off about from Brussels. And we’re happy he did. An all round music head from Brussels, with an exceptional taste for records & making tracks by herself. On the third floor we make room to chill and cool down in between house dancing. The chill room will be hosted by where you can hear sweet alternate sounds from friends of the bus; William Caycedo, Jack Wrenn, RTD, and MD. Buckle up for some serious groove in the building. ADE around the corner they say.
The most wonderful time of the year, some say! Well, despite a few hick ups and getting a “No” as an answer from the local authorities to park up front volkshotel, it was actually necessary, yet decisive to sent the photo with the neighborhood agent from last year (slide 2) explaining we’re a joyful meeting point for vinyl lovers and others. And then it got approved. True story :) Thanks mate! Hope you will come back for another sesh👮‍♂️

In other happy news; next week it’ll be exactly a year ago since the wheels of the Bus started spinning seriously. It actually started off at volkshotel as a scary try out selling a few records from our own collection. We cannot express the gratitude enough to everyone who stopped by, came for a dig or supported in any other way since then. We’ll be celebrating the 1 year anniversary in full with a few more surprises coming up at the bus during the week. Hope to see you on one of the pop-up dates or on one of the 2 parties we have planned. Or both? it’s ADE after all.

Back in the saddle, back on the road. This weekend all roads lead to Maastricht and Sexyland!

The last time it was a real pleasure to connect with the local spinners of Maastricht, it’s basically the same humor but different accent, it’s about time we meet again. Also there’s an after party (with a sick sound system) at the local club starting at 23:00. If you’re in town - come and vibe with us. The pop up will be also there, starting at 17:00 till 21:00.

On Sunday the bus makes its return to the promised land at in Amsterdam.
The last time was wild. General notice for this Sunday, can we make it a bit less cozy. The weather is looking fine as well. Will spend the rest of the week at Dexters lab dusting off the wax to search for a few holy grails to be added in the crates of glory.

After this weekend it will remain silent on the pop up streets until the gates of mordor opens for that beast of an ADE week 👀

Hello there comrades. Last minute dig notice for this weekend! Tomorrow (Saturday) we’ll be in front of Sexyland setting up camp here once more. It’s been a while and we’ve got something brewing at this hot spot as well, tba very soon;) We’ll be adding around 150 new titles and open up the shop from 12:00 till 19:00. 🌿THIS SATURDAY 🌿We’re invited back to make some friendly noise again and host our unofficial garden party .hintergarten This is where we kicked things off beginning of June, playing all day long for the first time. These are the only pics that made it from that day and night (afters also count). It was blissful, and maybe one of the happiest days of the summer ❤️

The shop will be open for service on Saturday from 12:00 till 17:00. DM for a visit or just stop by and come for a digzky.
Every new pop up a lot of fresh records will be added to the crates.

On Sunday there’s more vinyl to find on site. There’s a big vinyl market from 11:00 till 17:00, organized by with top sellers like and many others. The bus will open as well during these times. So yeah, if you want to extent your record collection and feel like dancing outdoors this weekend. Look no further, we’ve got you covered. In any case of rain we also got you covered. Literally. But so far the weather is looking very fine and above 20 degrees. Are we really that lucky? 🍀

There have been some really beautiful moments over the past weeks. Thank you if you were part of it.

A few weeks ago I got in contact with the daughter of Dutch deejay Mouse. She was selling her dad’s record collection after his unfortunate passing. After the first phone call we got on and the same day I drove to pick up the records at her moms
house. She even gathered her friends and family to help out moving the records, since it was stored on the 4th floor. So much kindness!

As a present she gave a box of sealed copies of a record of her dad made, that never made its proper release.

I spend a few weeks digging into the boxes, found amazing stuff but I forgot about that one box until now. There are a few tunes on this release that sound special and deserve playtime. You can find the record on discogs listed with sound clips. Killer progressive grooves.

For the pop up I’ll bring a few copies along with a lot of other records coming from his collection. You can recognize it from the sticker 🐭

Things escalated at the headquarters, also known as the record farm. One can dig for records and play with puppets at the same time ✨Is this better than Barbie land? Nothing is better than Barbie land. However! This week the bus will be back on Friday and Saturday fully loaded up with new stock from new collections at . It’s a tasty one with lots of proggy house, trance and techno, plus carefully curated rave and electro. I’ve fished out the bad ones, so it’s an easy win if you’re up for it. Just send a DM if you want to come and check the crates on one of the days and I’m sure we’ll get you a good score. On Sunday we sing out the week in collaboration with De School, throwing a sound system party, at a lush spot among friends, somewhere on the terrace near the cafe. Line up & more deets dropping tomorrow. Already posting this due to great excitement and the trigger finger is itching after a long weekend off 🚀

Did someone say, Block Party?! On Kingsday we’ll have the absolute pleasure to set up camp, bring out the speakers and present a 16-hour trip of music & fun. In front of het Volkshotel, with the camper as backdrop, we’re ready to reclaim the streets and dance like it’s 1999 - all day long & continue the dance at Doka right after. We have our sound powered by O2 music / Klipschorn and invited a bunch of amazing deejays & local legends. Special guests flying in are; Cecilio (Slow Life) and the O Mato Soundsystem from Berlin.
