Mark Kooijman — Deep Freak
Born and raised in a small Dutch village, Mark Kooijman discovered his passion for music at an early age, inspired by disco and the early rise of electronic music such as acid house. His fascination soon grew into a true vinyl addiction, spending countless hours behind the iconic Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntables. At eighteen, he moved to Amsterdam, where he earned a DJ residency at the legendary Studio 80 and shared the stage with artists like Luke Slater and many others. Today, under his alias Deep Freak, Mark crafts smooth and hypnotic DJ sets filled with deep house, minimal, and techno — a blend of timeless grooves and pure underground energy.
