✨NAUSYQA’s single VALIANT

Already being called “the real ambassadors of modern music”, NAUSYQA takes a new direction with their upcoming 2nd album (out January 24). A somewhat rougher approach that has pushed their sound further, with tunes like this 1st single VALIANT. A groovy riff that sets the stage for a catchy and lyrical saxophone melody, patiently building up to a euphoric climax, full of voices, synths and happiness. ✨Steven Kamperman’s single The Dark Wizard’s Magic Horse

Steven Kamperman wrote a new soundtrack to Lotte Reiniger’s magical animated film “Die Abenteure des Prinzen Achmeds” (1926), the first full-length animated film from the early years of cinema. Unlike Disney it was not drawn, but cut with dazzling detail! Kamperman and his fellowmen Hamid Reza Behzadian and Esat Ekincioğlu take you into the mysterious world of the Tales of 1001 Nights. With hauntingly beautiful melodies that evoke the allure of the Arabian desert to thunderous beats that accompany epic battles. Try out December 15 Amersfoort, tickets in bio!

✨Yes Pavlov’s single Free

YES PAVLOV is where jazz gets a tiny dose of Indian spice and a small scoop of groove. The quartet pictures itself as “a ship sailing on waves of music that are a mashup of old-school charm and new-age fun”. This new and exciting band from Belgium, led by Ruben Verbruggen, find chemistry in their search for musical freedom and interplay. ‘Free’, the 1st single of their upcoming album ‘Agra’ (February 7), was born out of a spontaneous, open improvisation during studio sessions.

✨Loek Van Den Berg’s single When We Weep

His debut album “Wayfarer” (2022) has brought saxophonist/composer Loek van den Berg a lot of good. The title piece was chosen as ‘Best Composition’ during the Dutch Jazz Competition and Loek also received an Edison Jazz Award (‘Dutch Grammy’) in the ‘Best Newcomer’ category.
From his upcoming album “Seafarer” (street date January 31), Loek now releases “When We Weep” as a single. A song rich of melodies that come together in a lyrical, layered, and flowing composition that expresses feelings of grief, transience and melancholy.

✨Koi Forest’s single Nayade

Much like the carp, the music of Koi Forest sonically ‘swims’ against the current. With deep grooves, fairytale-harmonies and neo soul acid jazz influences, the band guides you through a musical forest where everything seems just slightly different. First single of upcoming debut album (release Record Store Day 2025) is titled Nayade, inspired by the mythological nymph, the Naiad. Known for healing abilities and guardians of water, and the power to seduce men. The song centers around a femme fatale—a beautiful, mysterious woman who leaves a trail of destruction in her wake.

✨Egle Petrosiute feat. SAMBA ME’s single Baila Mi Amor
 
Baila Mi Amor is a song that invites you to just come dance to the music, forget about despair and celebrate the good things in life. It is also a love duet between Egle Petrosiute based in the Netherlands and Djâmen (Latin Grammy winning songwriter) who lives in Portugal. A piece for salsa lovers too! The band SAMBA ME had its breakthrough earlier this year as a finalist of The Voice of Lithuania and is considered to be pioneers of Brazilian music in the Baltics. They will play concerts in Lithuania on December 11-12-14.

Als je als BOOST! wordt vergeleken in Windout Magazine met Scott Henderson en Tribal Tech is dat natuurlijk helemaal waanzinnig maar wat ze daarna schreven over ons is natuurlijk het allergrootste compliment. 🙏

Deze muzikanten zijn uitzonderlijk en veelzijdig en hebben een sterke invloed op wat er momenteel gebeurt in de jonge Europese jazzscene.
