✨Sebastiaan Visser album Always There

“Always There” is the new album by Sebastiaan Visser. Despite his age, 25, Seb is already a household name among jazz fusion guitar aficionados, known for his rich sound and energetic playing. He was about 4 when he got pulled in to the sound of the guitar, his ears catching the likes of Mark Knopfler, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters, and later jazz cats like Allan Holdsworth, John McLaughlin and Mike Stern. ✨Dutch Jazz Collective single Roots of Rhythm Remains 
 
For their upcoming 2nd album, “United”, while searching for a creative way to combine both modern- and traditional jazz music, Dutch Jazz Collective (DJC) invited trombonist Ilja Reijngoud and tenor saxophonist Paul Heller. Both Ilja and Paul composed and arranged the charts for this album. First single “Roots of Rhythm Remain”, is written by Ilja, specifically with Paul and DJC in mind, and written with the groove and the pulse of the heartbeat as a starting point. The piece shows how effortlessly DJC combines both the modern and traditional styles of big band music.

✨Franz Von Chossy single The Peacemaker  
 
The Peacemaker is the 1st single from the upcoming modern jazz album “Mirror 9” by pianist Franz von Chossy. Mirror 9 is a nine-part suite dedicated to the diversity of human personality, inspired by the nine types of the Enneagram. Each movement reflects a different personality type. 
The Peacemaker seeks harmony and calm, avoiding conflict and keeping the peace. When they awaken to their own desires and take a stand, they become powerful, grounded, and full of life. 
Von Chossy has gathered a pan-European ensemble around him. Group is on release tour in the Netherlands, playing Brebl Nijmegen, Bimhuis Amsterdam and Paradox Tilburg (Sep 10-11-12).
