Ensuring Conducive Learning Environment: Governor Uba Sani commissions new classrooms.

Continuing the commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the state, Governor Uba Sani, represented by his Chief of Staff, Sani Liman, has commissioned a newly constructed 2 Blocks of 10 Classrooms at Government Junior Secondary School Abakpa, Kaduna North.

The groundbreaking of these blocks of classrooms took place on 31st August 2023, commemorating the Governor's first 100 days in office.

The newly constructed 2 blocks of 10 classrooms are furnished with 20 units of 3-seater desks, whiteboards, and notice boards. Additionally, new toilet facilities have been installed, and the entire school has undergone extensive renovation to ensure a conducive learning environment for students.

The new classrooms have expanded the capacity of the school to comfortably accommodate an additional 600 students.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene facilities have also been provided with separate toilets for boys and girls and access for persons with disabilities.

This school is one of the 62 new secondary schools (39 Junior Secondary Schools and 23 Senior Secondary Schools) being constructed under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani.

Gwamnatin Jihar Kaduna, karkashin jagorancin Mai Girma Gwamna Sanata Uba Sani, za ta kaddamar da wani shiri irinsa na farko game da Ƙirƙirarriyar Fasaha ta Artificial Intelligence da Fasahar zamani ta digital cikin harshen Hausa wanda aka shirya gudanarwa a dakin taro na Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, a ranar 30 ga Afrilu, 2024. Wannan taron ya nuna yadda ƙirƙirarriya fasaha ke ƙara samun wurin zama a dukkanin ɓangarori a wannan ƙasa.

Shirin Ya ƙunshi gajerun bidiyoyu 40 da wasu ƙananan hotuna masu motsi (kowane tsawon mintuna 4-5), wanda aka tsara cikin harsunan Hausa da Ingilishi. Shirin dai Mabudin kunnuwa ne game ilimin dake ƙumshe a cikin wannan sabuwar fasaha. Wannan shiri wani bangare ne na babban shirin Arewa Ladies4Tech, shirin da Google.org ke daukar nauyin yayin da Data Science Nigeria ke jagorancinsa. Manufar shirin shi ne samar da ayyukan yi a fannin kimiyyar bayanai da ƙirƙirarriyar Fasaha da kuma fasahar sadarwa ta dijital a jihar Kaduna da Arewacin Najeriya da Ƙasa baki ɗaya.

The Kaduna State Government, in collaboration with the National Malaria Elimination Programme, SCIDaR, and Roll Back Malaria, observed World Malaria Day under the theme 'Accelerate the fight against Malaria for a more equitable world'.

Dr. Aisha Abubakar-Sadiq, the Permanent Secretary, represented the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Health and led the proceedings. The day began with a press briefing on the initiatives to combat malaria, followed by an advocacy rally as part of the activities to mark the 2024 World Malaria Day.
