I have been following the unfortunate events that led to the trending video of the Chrisland pupil and public outcry.
There are deep issues concerning the incident and one has to be careful before making any pronouncement.
The million dollar question is 'who is to blame"? The School or the Parent?
From honest point of view, i say both are to be held responsible.
My stand is based on the fact that the school seems to be more interested in the money parents pay for their wards and have thrown discipline to the winds.
On the part the mother, she failed to lay a solid moral foundation for her kids.
If you watch the dress code the elder sister to the teenage girl and that their mother you will understand my point.
Am not talking about the trending video with their mum dressed like a normal mum waiting for the return her child after preparing lunch, but the one she is dressed like a night clubber.

Voting someone into a position of authority and leadership is a trust bestowed upon such a person to be the mouth piece of a people and the projector of the aspirations of the people.
Therefore he/she is answerable and responsible for advocating for real growth of the people in terms of infrastructural development, economic growth, and good leadership.
It is not a mandate to become Lord of the minor or to enrich himself or herself and family members who inturn become untouchable.
Your vote is your ticket to good governance and quality leadership that will add value to your life. Do not sell it for a plate of porridge for four or eight years while the person enriches himself/herself at your expense.
Ask yourself, will a plate of porridge last for eight years, will it bring you good infrastructure or the much desired economic growth?
Educate yourself on the rights you have as a voter. Such a person can be recalled using due legal process devoid of violence.
Do not sell your rights or enslave generations because of bellema politics.

Justice Chuka of the Lagos Federal High Court has ordered the RFAC to review salaries of National Assembly members to reflect with the current economic reality facing the Nation, describing it as outrageous.

Each time the heart beats is like a clock that ticks to indicate the progress of time which translates to minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years. If the clock has a battery or engine, it will function perfectly until the battery is changed or the engine serviced regularly. So it is with the mindset, do you need to change your mindset? Do you need to service the engine of your heart by taking away things that gives it stress and pressure?
