Super unpredictable 😅

This life that I have makes me realize, over and over again, how ‘not in control’ I am.

However unpredictable, you’ve got to keep moving, and keep doing?

I’ve been super excited about March. I’m not sure why if you ask me. My husband says it’s because it’s my season. Preach pastor🙌🏾😂😂

I’m currently at this place where it’s a fine line between nonchalance and unbothered. You get? I’m not bothered about the things that should be bothering me. I’m also not nonchalant about them.

I’m neither going with the flow nor do I have a strategy. I’m in between.

I kind of love it.
It gives this feeling of ‘everything is under control’ while doing your best and keeping worry away.

I’m curious to know how you feel about March. Tell me in the comments.

As for me, I’m committing to:
✅ Showing you how to put yourself, business, ideas & interests out on social media. You’ll love it. You’ll earn more, you’ll touch lives.

✅Showing you how to create content worth consuming

✅encouraging you read at least 3 books monthly

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE PERSONAL BRAND ACCELERATOR PROGRAM

I began working on a mentorship program some 3 months ago. My intention is to replicate myself by teaching people to earn how I earn.

It’s good to read. You should read books, articles, journals, research papers. Read!

However, as you read, stay open-minded because no matter what you read or how much you do, you’ll NEVER know it all.

Do not allow arrogance sip in

Arrogance can sip in when you begin to feel you are better than those who do not read as much as you do.

One of the places where I meet arrogant people is in book stores. You may be more knowledgeable but definitely not better. Stay humble, stay open minded.

While shopping for books today, I met a man who’s probably in his early 50s. He said and I quote, “Most of the teachings on marriage are only motivational”.

I was curious so I asked him his reference point for his statistic. He gave me no response but went on to say especially . “They are just following trends”

At this point, I wanted to know what he was thinking so I asked if he had read any book on marriage by Tim LaHaye or listened to his teachings on the subject. I wasn’t surprised when he said he doesn’t know Tim LaHaye.

He just wouldn’t stop saying and are motivational speakers and that their teachings are the cause of marriage failure. I told him I don’t agree with both his statistic and his theory, and that a lot of factor influence the failure of a marriage union and not the teaching alone. He made it seem the couple had no part to play.

Besides, have you listened to every single teaching from every marriage teacher? Have you read every book on marriage? Did you read or see that statistic somewhere? How did you come to the conclusion that MOST teachings are motivational and the reason why marriages are failing?

After a few more conversations, he said “I’ll like to gift you one of my books”, and brought out a pamphlet.

“Aha!”, I yelled in my mind😂 Na them. Sir, you didn’t have to rubbish Pastor Kingsley’s ministry to give me your pamphlet.

This experience reminded me of one tiny book that one of my mentors gave me. It was written by one guy from Plataeu, Nigeria (I don’t remember the author’s name or the book title)

Today’s one of those days where I’m struggling.

Oh not just today, I think I’ve felt like this the whole of last week. I can’t exactly explain how I feel but nothing is currently making sense.

I even deleted all my social media accounts over the weekend .

It’s especially so annoying because I’m in the middle of launching my mentorship program - The Personal Brand Accelerator program and I need my mind to be at maximum productivity.

I understand that the road that leads to success is in fact not linear and it can get overwhelming at times. However, what we do here is throw it all on Jesus and keep moving.

That’s exactly what I’m doing today.

If there’s anyone here who’s currently struggling with anything - business, finances, career, relationships whatever, know that you are not alone and it happens to everyone.

I only started to notice yesterday, that my plants have begun sprouting new leaves. I had concluded I was going to trash them after watering them daily for over a week and wasn’t seeing new leaves.

You can imagine my shock this morning when I saw the size & length of the new leaves.

I water them everyday which is supposed to mean that I should see the tiny leaves as they begin to sprout and not when they become big.

Did I suddenly wake up to new, big leaves?

Did they spring out over night?

Did I just not notice?

This got me thinking.

Growth, most times, goes unnoticed until we look intentionally.

We go about our lives worrying that the investments we made in our character, career, relationships are a waste. We conclude that we are stunted, stagnant or not growing when in fact, the growth has been happening, we just did not notice.

I noticed the new leaves when I intentionally looked. So I ask you, “Have you looked intentionally or have you concluded that you are stagnant?

I believe that growth comes in various forms including the silent thoughts that questions wrong-doing, the worries that birth tomorrow’s motivation, the concerns that lead to finding answers, the meditation that brings the calmness to get good work done, the moves outside the physical, the strengthening of our character after reading a good book and practicing what it advises, the mindset shift that happened while in the shower, the lesson we learned when we overheard a conversation.

The challenge, however, is that If you don’t look intentionally, with the eye of taking stock, you’ll assume that you are stagnant.

Here are 1 tip to help you evaluate your growth as the year wraps up.

Take a personal inventory. Who were you before that you no longer are today? What things changed? What habits have you dropped? What habits have you picked up? What specific mindset shifts have happened? What career growth/decline have you experienced? Has your income increased in the last one year? If yes, by how much?

Doing this will help you know if you are growing or not. Today, I urge you to look intentionally.
