TODAY'S MINISTER: PASTOR ROD HEMBREE
Rod’s journey with God has been one of unexpected discovery and wonder that has moulded him into a man with a tattered, well-worn and unyielding faith. Despite his long family legacy of inspiring pastors, his journey to faith was not easy.

Today Rod finds unending delight in the Bible, but like most of us, he hasn’t always felt that way. As a Pastor’s kid, Rod struggled to connect with God and His Word. But at 14 he read through the Psalms and felt everything shift. Rod felt convicted and asked the Holy Spirit to intervene in His life. Formerly the boy running from the police, Rod became the boy carrying a torn up Bible with him everywhere. He even lost 21 of them in one year – left behind in school buses, lunch rooms and relinquished to skeptical teachers who demanded his complete attention. He was enamoured!

After graduating from college in Arkansas, Rod relocated to Ontario, Canada to work alongside his father and other family members at Kennedy Road Tabernacle (KRT). It was there that Rod met and fell in love with his wife, Janice. Together they have three children and four grandchildren (and counting).

Like many, Rod and his family have experienced a considerable amount of trauma and pain on their faith journey. After the failed radio ministry dreams of working alongside his father, Ron, coupled with feelings of frustration with the Church, Rod pursued a career in marketing and became the Executive Vice President at Tavco Marketing & Media. He had no plans to return to a pastoral role or Christian television, but in 1987, Rod reconnected with his friend David Mainse who asked him to return and work alongside him in Christian television. After much prayer, Rod took a step of faith and returned, becoming the Senior Producer at 100 Huntley Street until 1994.

In 1993, Rod took the position of Executive Director with Bible Discovery (formerly Quick Study Television). It was here that the Lord restored the vision Rod and his father had given up on 10 years earlier. Together, Rod and Ron created a program that helps people understand how to engage with the Bible. Bible Discovery is an international media ministry invested in educating, edifying and encouraging the believer to think and boldly explore the Truth.

The road was still fraught with many ups and downs but the Lord has been faithful in both. Today, Rod and his wife Janice, along with their two adult children Corie and Ryan, complete the Bible Discovery team of four. In Rod’s own words, “It’s a family thing.”

Lawrence Oyor and Godswill Oyor both teamed up to start a global movement referred to as the “Davidic Ministrels“. Davidic Minstrels is a global movement, awakening hearts to worship and demonstrate the love and power of God. As a worship movement, David Minstrels is driven by the philosophy that worship is more than just strewn lyrics with harmonious rhythm.

TODAY'S MINISTER: MERCY CHINWO-BLESSED UZOCHIKWA
Born on the 5th of September in Rivers State, and raised in the city of Port Harcourt, the Nigerian roots phenom, Mercy Chinwo; a Gospel Singer, Actress, Public Speaker, and an Ambassador of the Gospel of Jesus Christ couldn’t come at a better time.

In 2013, Mercy Chinwo made her acting debut in the television movie titled HOUSE OF GOLD, starring alongside Yvonne Nelson, Majid, Omawumi, IcePrince and Frank Odega. In the same year, she did the theme song for the Rivers State Carnival and was found deserving to be the face of the festival.

In 2015, she used her songwriting talents to pen her first solo single titled, ‘TESTIMONY’; a song which chronicled her life, and her journey towards success. Since then, Mercy has remained within the Gospel Music circuit, collaborating with some of the well-known Gospel music brands, such as Chris Morgan, Chioma Jesus, J.J Hairston, Sammie Okposo, Joe Praize, Deacon Buchi, Chris Morgan, Preye Odede, and many others.

In 2016, she released her second single titled ‘IGWE’; a soulful worship song which is fast becoming an anthem in many Churches, trailed with testimonies, chief of which was a report in Dominion City, Enugu, of a woman who came back to life while she sang this song which she said to have learnt when her spirit departed to be with the Lord.

In August 2022, she got married to Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, fondly called Pastor Blessed by many, he is the resident pastor of The Waterbrook (TWB) Church in Lekki Area of Lagos State, Nigeria

Among Mercy’s influencers are the likes of Chris Morgan, Chioma Jesus, and Tasha Cobbs. She made cameo appearances in Sinach’s ‘He Did it Again’ video which was released in 2015. She has dropped awesome singles like ‘OME KANNAYA’, ‘ON A REGULAR’, ‘EXCESS LOVE’, ‘I AM’, ‘TRUST’ and ‘LOVE EXPRESSION’ which were all premiered before she released her acclaimed debut album titled ‘THE CROSS MY GAZE’. Christine Caine is an Australian born, Greek blooded, love of Jesus, a sought-after international speaker, author and activist. Known for her ability to effectively communicate a message of hope, Christine has a heart for reaching the lost, strengthening leadership, and championing the cause of justice.

Together with her husband, Nick Caine, she founded the anti-human trafficking organization, The A21 Campaign – a recipient of the Mother Theresa Memorial Award for their work combating human trafficking among refugees. Today's Minister: Prophet Emmanuel Okeke

Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Okeke is from Nibo, a remote town in Anambra State, Nigeria. From Chief Raphael N. Okeke’s family. He has three brothers in total. He’s had a hunger for things of God since he was a child. He loves men of God and enjoys watching men of God prophesy. For some reason, he understood something in him was related to God’s service.

Emmanuel Okeke is the founder of Watchtower Prayer Network. He is a young man called to the Prophetic Office and blessed with the gift of healing, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, gift of prophecy, and with the teaching grace.

At the age of 18, Prophet Emmanuel Okeke became aware of God’s calling on his life after reading a book written by Benny Hinn (Welcome Holy Spirit and Good Morning Holy Spirit). Given the absence of direction and instructors of God’s word around him, he ventured into the Entertainment Industry by creating a social dating network called FRIENDITE, which prompted him to pursue COMPUTER SCIENCE and enter the social media sector.

Although he perceived something unique about his life, he never understood until he gave his life to Christ in 2017 and heed to God’s call. His mother admired the idea that someone had taken such a significant step to serve God, but his father did not; to him, it was a waste of time; he held the belief that pastors are impoverished and beggars. His father wanted him to head the family firm, and didn’t understand why Emmanuel chose God instead of money.

His mother’s death in 2018 rather than discouraging him from the meaning and purpose of life made him discover his purpose and calling in God since it was one of the things his mother would always encourage him to do, and so God’s servant prophet Emmanuel saw himself as a vessel of honour, first to his family who has been challenged in some ways over the years and then to those who are around him and as much as those who are seeking to be helped by his ministry.

Prophet Emmanuel Okeke got married to Evangelist Benita Emmanuel-Okeke in 2019 and the family has been a source of inspiration and motivation for other families.

TODAY'S MINISTER: DRS. ANDRÉ & JENNY ROEBERT
Dr. André Roebert has been in ministry since 1991; André married Jenny in March 1992 and together they served first as Youth Pastors, and later on became District Pastors to assist the Senior Pastors at Good News Church in King Williams Town (Eastern Cape, South Africa).

In 1996 God started to birth a deep desire for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in both André and Jenny and they started Revival South Africa, an itinerant ministry that travelled from town to town throughout South Africa, out of which The River Church and Ministry was birthed in 1998 in East London. Just two years later God led them into the first of many business ventures and a 55 000 square meter (670 000 square foot) building was purchased that would become the headquarters of the River Group today.

Mike Bamiloye is a Nigerian film actor, dramatist, producer and director. He is an evangelist and founder and president of Mount Zion Faith Ministries International, (a drama ministry).

A graduate of College of Education Ilesha, Osun State, Evangelist Mike was born on April 13, 1960 at Ilesha, a town in Osun State southwestern Nigeria. He trained at Divisional Teachers’ Training College at Ipetumodu where he began his career. He founded Mount Zion on August 5, 1985. His debut drama, titled Hell in Conference was staged at the National Christian Teachers Conference in 1986 at Ilesa in Osun State. Today's Minister: Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

Daniel Kolenda is a missionary evangelist, pastor, author, and teacher, who has led more than 22-million people to Christ face-to-face through massive open-air evangelistic campaigns in some of the most dangerous, difficult, and remote locations on earth.

As the successor to world-renowned Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Daniel is the President and CEO of Christ for All Nations – a ministry which has conducted some of the largest evangelistic events in history, has published over 190 million books in 104 languages, and has 14 offices in 12 countries on six continents. He has hosted two internationally syndicated television programs (one daily and one weekly) and has authored eight books, including the bestsellers LIVE Before You Die and Slaying Dragons.

In addition to the international work, Daniel is also the Lead Pastor of a thriving local congregation in Orlando, Florida, called Nations Church. He is the founder of the CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp and the Christ for all Nations School of Ministry, located in Orlando. These institutions and others are part of an overarching mandate to “multiply laborers for the sake of the harvest.” The emphasis on multiplication has already resulted in hundreds of ministers launched and ministries birthed, which have collectively documented millions of decisions for Christ in the last few years.

Daniel is a graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola. Daniel, his wife Rebekah, and their five children, Elijah, Gloria, London, Lydia, and Benjamin, reside in the Orlando area.
