Abia State is a state in the south eastern part of Nigeria. The capital is Umuahia and the major commercial city is Aba, formerly a British colonial government outpost. The state was created in 1991 from part of Imo State and its citizens are predominantly Igbo people (95% of population). It is one of the nine constituent states of the Niger Delta region. Abia State, which occupies about 5,834 squ

are kilometers, is bounded on the north and northeast by the states of Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi. To the west of Abia is Imo State, to the east and southeast are Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State, and to the south is Rivers State. The southern part of the State lies within the riverine part of Nigeria. It is low-lying tropical rain forest with some oil-palm brush. the southern oportion gets heavy rainfall of about 2,400 millimetres (94 in) per year especially intense between the months of April through October. The rest of the State is moderately high plain and wooded savanna. The most important rivers in Abia State are the Imo and Aba Rivers which flow into the Atlantic Ocean through the Niger Delta.

We, the good people of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi are asking, where are these ongoing, completed and new projects, we understood that these projects where awarded during Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.
If you are in Isuikwuato, Isuochi, Uturu, Chieze, Leru, Acha, Nneochi Lokpaukwu, Lokpanta and the communities under Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.
Check all these projects that monies have been released, if completed or ongoing.
We have to hold our representatives responsible for the monies that they have collected and failed to execute the projects.
Chief Hon Amobi Godwin Ogah will also hold responsible for all projects that will come on his name or during his tenure.
We must start getting it right.

KANU NWANKWO IN ABIA, CONGRATULATES GOV OTTI ON SUCCESSFULLY ASSUMING OFFICE

Arsenal legend and Nigeria's former international Kanu Nwankwo has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, on his successful assumption of office.

The multiple award-winning footballer was at the Isialangwa country home of Dr. Otti on Sunday, where he presented the Abia Governor with a gift of customised football Jersey shirt and giant-sized card bearing a goodwill message.

The presence of the Super Eagles former striker naturally attracted the attention of residents and visitors within the expansive home of the first citizen of Abia.

Attached picture (top) shows the Abia Governor, the First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Otti and son, Alex Jr with the visiting football King.
