Clifford University, Ihie, Abia State, is set to host renowned industrialist and former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Samson Ogah (Ph.D., FCA, CON, OON), as the keynote speaker at its prestigious Eminent Personality Lecture Series.
The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, at the Clifford University Auditorium, beginning at 9:00 a.m. prompt.
Dr. Ogah, a distinguished oil magnate and entrepreneur, is widely celebrated for his impactful philanthropic engagements across Abia State. He has executed several community-driven projects, including the electrification of villages in Uturu, the construction of modern prototype housing units for his community, and the building of a 5,000-capacity auditorium at the Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu.
Beyond his business success and philanthropic influence, Dr. Ogah has been a prominent political figure in the state, having contested for the governorship of Abia State on different occasions.
