I will tell you two reasons why you always Buy.

There’s this particular guy that comes around my office marketing his services.

If you see the way he carries his business for head you will jump immediately to his offer.

People weren’t much interested in what he usually talks about probably because of the fee or they just don’t feel like buying it.

Nowadays people want to buy but not to be sold…

On a certain day, he came again but this time with a different strategy for his business.

He told us that he is offering 50% discount to anyone that will be willing to pay that day and that the offer ends that day.

Boom! See people scampering to get the deal🤣see people paying immediately 🙄 because they’ve heard about promo and that the offer ends that day.

This made me to reflect on why people buy things.
Do you know why people buy?

People have reasons why they spend.

As a copywriter I’m going to tell you two reasons that make people to buy.

People buy out of emotions than logic

You must know why people buy and what pulls the trigger.

👉Fear: People buy out of fear. Fear of losing out on a good deal just like what happened in my office. The product came with a huge discount and will soon be out of stock. Nobody wants to loose out.

People buy out of fear of going broke, fear of being sick, fear of the unknown etc

👉Comfort: People want to be comfortable. Everyone wants a stress-free life so people buy to be comfortable.
