CALCIUM CARBONATE
Commonly called calcium (Ca) in the chemical market, they are also known as
EXTENDERS / FILLERS/ BODY of paint. They provide the bulked cheap cost.
They are also known as low hiding pigment for interior and exterior paint. High
volume of calcium is used to produce emulsion paint .Calcium gives body/
volume to paint; they reduce cost and increase production output of paints. Are
very cheap, usually comes out in 50 Kg bag like cement .Other examples of
Extender /fillers include Silica, Zinc oxide, Calcite, Talc, Clay kaslin,
magnesium Silicate etc. However, Calcium is one of the cheapest and most
widely used extenders. However, Calcium is not used in the production of Satin
paint (washable paints)

TITANIUM DIOXIDE
Commonly known as Titan in the paint material market, whitish in colour and
Sticky when touch with fingers, they give paint (especially light colour) the
required body coverage.
They are in powder form, usually the first chemical to be added inside the
mixing drum after water. As a Paint Producer, you must ensure your titan mix
very well when you add it to your mixing tank (drum) Regardless of solvent-
based or water-based paint, the use of titanium dioxide, its Role is not just to
cover and decorate, a more important role is to improve the Physical and
chemical properties of the coating, enhanced chemicals stability, as Well as
improve the hiding power, colour power consumption, anti-corrosive, and light
Fastness, weather resistance, and enhance the film's mechanical strength and
Adhesion, to prevent cracks, UV and moisture to prevent the transmission, thus
Postpone aging, to extend the life of the film.

CRD is a mycoplasma disease caused by mycoplasma gallisepticum, it affects the respiratory tracts including air sacs of chickens and other birds. CRD can be transmitted through hatching eggs, direct contact with carrier birds through inhalation of contaminated droplets, dust or feathers.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Abnormal respiratory sounds, sneezing, nasal discharge and also reduced feed consumption, loss of body weight, and decreased egg production.
TREATMENT
Chronic respiratory disease can be treated with several antibiotics. Oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline, tyrosine, enrofloxacine and other related drugs used to treat CRD.
