Robbers entered a House in Akure, and asked for all the Money and Valuables.
After they collect what they can, they give the man of the house a gun with instructions to shoot his wife or shoot himself.

The man gets the gun, points it at his wife, and hesitates.
He is thinking of what he has gone through in life with his wife and how she has suffered and sacrificed for him.

He hands back the gun and says, “I am sorry I can’t do this…

The boss of the robbers silently grabs the gun from him and passes it on to the wife to kill her husband.

The wife gets the gun and without any single hesitation points to her husband’s head and pulls the trigger. But at last, the gun had no bullets in it.

The robbers get their gun and walk out of the house laughing.

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION.
1) If you were the man, what will you do?

2) If you were the wife, what explanation would you give?

3) If you were invited to bring peace how would you settle it ??

I was always hearing people saying that coconut rice was very tasty and delicious but I had never tasted it before.

We lived in a public compound where everyone held a degree in minding their business. Especially when they are all trying to form high class but there was this particular girl who like forming for me too much.

Some days ago, I heard her r@nting about the coconut rice she prepared and I decided to cook my own.

Our house was a one bedroom flat where I lived with my mother and siblings.

That day, I decided to make coconut rice and surprise my mom with my cooking skill so I went to her shop in the market and told her that I wanted to cook coconut rice.

She l@ughed and asked me "Tiwi, can you cook it?"

I replied with all the conf!dence in me "Yes ma"

My mother was a single mum who was working extra h@rd to see to our needs and the one thing she h@ted the most was wastage.

Whether wastage of food or anything she does not toler@te it.

C0mm0n s£nse could have told me to search on YouTube for a tutorial of how to cook coconut rice but I was confident in what my mind was telling me.
Something I have not eaten before.

When my mum finally gave me the money to buy the ingredients since we already had rice at home.

I went inside the market and bought everything that is used to cook jollof rice, the only difference was that I also bought one big he@d of a very st®ong coconut.

I went home without going back to my mother shop and started cooking.

Men and brethren, after cooking a full pot of jollof rice, I broke the coconut, separated it from it shell and sliced it into small slices.

Then I poured a little groundnut oil in a pan and fried it.

After frying it, I removed it from the pan and poured into the jollof rice before stirring together.

Haaa!

What my mother did to me that day I can not forget it in a hurry.

After pun!shing me, she asked me to pick out all the tiny slices of coconut from the pot of jollof rice with a spoon until not one was remaining.

It's only God that knows how I surv!ved that day.

Moral lesson - learn to ask questions before you do something, especially when you have never done it before.

What did you learn?

Good evening, family.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙀𝙘0𝙣0𝙢𝙮 𝙄𝙨 𝙉0𝙩 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮.

I have been trying to look away from the way things keeps incre@sing in price in Nigeria, but the rate at which it's going is becoming al@rm!ng.

I am asking this question for the umpteenth time - How are people surv!v!ng?

The way things are going, I'm afr@!d to say that there is currently a h!gher rate of h¥ng£r in the country than we know.

The north where farming and foodstuff production is at its peak are also compla!ning about h¥ng£r

Wh@t is really going 0n in the c0untry?

My little advise to those who currently have the fund to buy foodstuffs and store them for future purposes. Buy and store.

Those foodstuffs that are not easily p£rish@ble and can last for long period like garri and rice and so on.

In N!geria, we will not b£g for food. No matter how the ec0n0my turns out to be.

Let us also not forget to pray for the country everyday.
F@m!ne is not our portion at all.

Together, we will pass through this h@rdsh!p and be alive to enjoy the fruitfulness to come.

I love you and will always support you.

What is that particular foodstuff that has increased so much in your area? Tell us the price before and the price now.

I learnt that a cup of local rice is more than #200 now. Is it true?

Good morning, family.
