Social research.
Why do we do research?

Information gathered from research can help us predict the behavior of certain individuals or groups.

When we have a good understanding of a social phenomenon, we may have a better idea of how to govern or guide it.

Through the investigation on social phenomenon and element, social researchers explore almost all areas of human behavior to gain a greater understanding of individuals and societies and how to help make better choices from a question about a new trend to an age old behavior can inspire a research.
It helps us solve problems because effective policy making and implementation requires that we understand the problems and the solution we are proposing to solve the problem.
We do research because speculations( rumors) about present human conditions are wide spread so they need testing for reality.
We need research in order to demystify ( explain) the social world and the universe.
In a continuous changing world,past studies are quickly updated so there is a need to continue to do research in order to update our stock of knowledge and information.

Research is the dilligent inquiry or examinations to seek or revise facts, principles, theories,applications etc, the laborious or continuous search after truth.

Research in sociology can be said to be sociology inquiry which is the methodical analysis of the inspirations and behavior of individuals within a group.

The tenth month of the year we made it, alive when some people took their last breath.
We may not have all the money, the house, the " lifestyles" but we are alive and that's more than enough to be grateful for.

Today, September 6th 2023 will be marked as the day Nigerian students in unilag protested and fought for their rights.
The tuition and hostel fee hike is madness, most people had to struggle to pay the former fee and ask for financial aid, now they have hiked it more than 10 times the former amount, how do they want the students to cope?

When we were young our teachers taught us that we are the future leaders of tomorrow, the hope of the country,

How will we do that, how will we achieve that when most of us cannot afford to go to school, pay for accomodations or feed ourselves?,

The crime rate in Nigeria has skyrocketed due to a lot of factors,
no money, unemployment and the increasing number of school dropouts.

If the hike doesn't stop, our future will surely be an unsure one, the crime rate will increase, cybercrimes, rituals, kidnapping, hookups and sucide.
Sucide caused by depression.
We stand 💪as one against the fee hike.
