Omo!!! Beans to the Rescue

I stood in front of my fridge yesterday morning staring closely at my shelves, at this point hunger don tear my eyes, I been no Dey see clearly sef, hunger wicked sha😭 My stomach growled, protesting the indecision. I was confused if I should have Pizza, pasta, or maybe something spicy? Omo who dash me? Only wetin Dey my fridge nah over ripe pawpaw. I wish I had pizza or something spicy in my fridge, but I no get… T pain nah your mate?🤣

Just as I was about to give up, my eyes landed on a humble on cup of beans I had kept on my fridge yesterday night, Unassuming, yet reliable. I boiled some water, added a dash of spice, pounded enough crayfish and pepper for that spicy and igbotic taste and let the magic happen.

I finished cooking in just 45 mins, dished my meal and Omo! The first bite was a revelation, really satisfying, I sabi cook sha.

In a world of endless options, sometimes the simplest choice is the best. Oh Beans, you've saved my the day and my rumbling stomach.
