Report says the candidate of the National Rescue Movement in Rivers State in the 2023 elections, Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich has been wisked away allegedly by unknown gunmen dressed in military uniform at his Usokun Residence in Degema Local Government Area of the state.

George Zua, an aide to Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich who confirmed the report to our correspondent, said the operation which was carried out in a commando styled fashion left two aides of the NRM candidate killed and their bodies taken away by the unknown assailants.

George Zua said the operation which began at about 2am Monday lasted for over eight hours.

The names of those killed in the attack were given as Diamond tamunoiminabo and Sincere jackrich.

We are relieved to inform you that Abigail has been located. However, our relief is tempered by the discovery that she was in police custody. The circumstances surrounding her detention at a disclosed police station in Port Harcourt remain unclear to us and our investigative team.

As an organization dedicated to advocating for the welfare of our people, particularly in the Andoni LGA, we are actively pursuing answers regarding the cause of Abigail's detention. We are committed to uncovering the truth and will provide further updates as soon as possible.
