Precious nodded, feeling a pang of guilt. She knew that her mother was right.

But just as the queen was about to continue scolding her, Royal burst into the throne room. "Your Majesty, please don't blame Precious," he said, out of breath. "I'm the one who pursued her. I'm the one who kissed her."

The queen's expression softened slightly, and she looked at Royal with newfound interest. "And who are you to defy the palace rules and pursue my daughter?" she asked.

Royal stood tall, his eyes locked on the queen. "I'm Royal, the male maid. And I'm in love with Precious."

Royal grinned back at her. "I've wanted you to do that for even longer," he said, pulling her back into his arms.

Just then, they heard the sound of footsteps coming from the hallway. Royal quickly pushed Precious away, and they both stood up straight, trying to look innocent.

But as the kitchen door swung open, Precious's mother, the queen, stood in the doorway, a look of shock and disapproval on her face.

"Precious, what is going on here?" she demanded, her voice stern.

Precious took a deep breath, knowing that she had to think fast. "Mother, I was just... uh... looking for something to eat," she stammered.

The queen raised an eyebrow. "At this time of night? And with the male maid?" she asked, her voice dripping with skepticism.

Precious knew that she was in trouble. She had been caught red-handed, and now she had to face the consequences.
