TOPIC: TELL IT TO JESUS.

BIBLE TEXT: Psalm 55:22, Matthew 11:28-30

SCRIPTURE:
- "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV)
- "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28-30, NIV)

DEVOTION:
Are you carrying a heavy load today? Do you feel overwhelmed by life's challenges? Jesus invites you to share your burdens with Him.

WHY TELL IT TOJESUS?
1. He cares: Jesus understands your struggles.
2. He listens: God hears your prayers.
3. He helps: Jesus provides strength and guidance.
4. He forgives: Jesus pardons your sins.

HOW TO TELL IT TO JESUS:
1. Pray sincerely: Share your heart with God.
2. Cast your cares: Release your burdens to Him.
3. Trust His sovereignty: Have faith in God's plan.
4. Rest in His peace: Experience calm in His presence.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
1. What burden are you carrying today?
2. Have you shared it with Jesus?
3. How can you trust God's sovereignty

TOPIC:: GOD'S AMAZING GRACE.

BIBLE TEXT: Ephesians 2:8-9

SCRIPTURES: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." (NIV)

DEVOTION:
God's grace is an unparalleled gift that transforms our lives. It's the unmerited favor that saves us, sustains us, and empowers us to live for Him.

WHAT IS GOD'S GRACE?
1. Unmerited favor: We don't deserve it, but God gives it freely.
2. Salvation: Grace saves us from sin and its consequences.
3. Empowerment: Grace enables us to live a life pleasing to God.
4. Sustenance: Grace carries us through life's challenges.

CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD'S GRACE:
1. Sovereign: God's grace is not limited by our worthiness.
2. Sufficient: Grace meets our every need.
3. Transforming: Grace changes us from the inside out.
4. Eternal: Grace is forever available.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE GOD'S GRACE:
1. Faith: Trust in Jesus Christ.
2. Humility: Recognize your need for God's grace.
3. Surrender: Yield to God's will.
4. Obedience: Follow God's commands.

TOPIC: CONTEND FOR THE FAITH.

BIBLE TEXT: Jude 1:3
Scripture: "Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people." (NIV)

DEVOTION:
In today's world, our Christian faith is constantly challenged. We face spiritual battles, doubts, and temptations that seek to undermine our trust in God. The apostle Jude urges us to contend for the faith, standing firm against false teachings and persevering in our walk with God.

What does it mean to contend for the faith?
1. Stand firm on God's Word: Know and defend the teachings of Scripture.
2. Resist false teachings: Be aware of doctrines that contradict biblical truth.
3. Persevere in trials: Trust God's sovereignty in difficult times.
4. Proclaim the Gospel: Share Jesus' love and salvation with others.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
1. What are you doing to strengthen your faith?
2. How can you stand firm against spiritual attacks?
3. Who can you share the Gospel with today?

ADDITIONAL VERSES:

*Morning Devotion*

TOPIC: YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.

BIBLE TEXT: John 3:1-21
Key Verse: John 3:7 - "You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'"

MESSAGE:
Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus, a Pharisee, emphasizes the necessity of spiritual rebirth. Being born again is not just a feeling or an experience, but a transformation that occurs when we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

WHY MUST WE BE BORN AGAIN?
1. Sinfulness: We are born with a sinful nature, separating us from God (Romans 3:23).
2. Spiritual death: Without Christ, we are spiritually dead, unable to connect with God (Ephesians 2:1-5).
3. New life: Being born again imparts God's life and nature, making us spiritually alive (2 Peter 1:4).

HOW ARE WE BORN AGAIN?
1. Faith: Trusting in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord (John 1:12-13).
2. Repentance: Turning away from sin and towards God (Acts 2:38).
3. Confession: Acknowledging Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
4. Baptism: Symbolising death to sin and new life in Christ (Matthew 28:19)
