President Muhammadu Buhari has formally approved the immediate suspension of Ibrahim Magu as Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The decision is to allow for “unhindered inquiry by the Presidential Investigation Panel under the Tribunals of Inquiry Act and other relevant laws”. Final year secondary school students in Nigeria won’t participate in the forthcoming West African Examination Council(WAEC) examinations, the Federal Government has declared.
