Tomorrow is pregnant/uncertain and no man knows what it'd bring. Even today is just a gift that we should take time to savour and enjoy. So, dont live as if you own everyday. #

Take it and hold it

No matter how long it lives, the Greatest Lion🦁 will eventually die miserably. That's the world! They may die young from injuries they sustained while defending their Pride. They may die old, enfeebled by age. At their Peak, they Rule, Chase other animals, catch, devour, gulp and leave their crumbs for hyenas. But age comes fast.

The old Lion can't hunt, can't kill or defend itself. It roams and roars until it runs out of luck. It will be cornered by the hyenas, nibbled at and eaten alive by them. They won't even let it die before it is dismembered.

Life is short. Power is ephemeral. I have seen it in lions. I have seen it in old people. Everyone who lives long enough will become very vulnerable at some point. Therefore, let us be humble. Help the sick, the weak, the vulnerable and most importantly never forget that we will live the stage one day.

Morning Dosage
Saturday 3rd October, 2020.

Topic: The cost
*Bible Text:* Luke 14:25-33.
Luke 14:25 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his [own] father and mother [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God] and [likewise] his wife and children and brothers and sisters–[yes] and even his own life also–he cannot be My disciple.
Luke 14:27 Whoever does not persevere and carry his own cross and come after (follow) Me cannot be My disciple.
Luke 14:28 For which of you, wishing to build a farm building, does not first sit down and calculate the cost [to see] whether he has sufficient means to finish it?

Message
Believers are many but disciples are few in the journey of salvation because many have not valued the cost of choice and decision, it will not speak well when you go for shopping, you didn't first list down the scale of preference, calculate the cost of your needs, you either buy what you don't need or buy less than your needs or buy nothing, christiandom are full of different categories of Believers, to extent that even gentles question our faith or salvation or lifestyles because It doesn't look like the lifestyle of Jesus Christ they heard about, why? Because many fail to count their cost for Christian race, Jesus in his message this morning saying: have you counted your cost when you decided to follow me?
Salvation is spiritual transaction where you have to exchange your life, worth, love and the likes for eternal life.

It time to count your cost for this salvation from Christ that you desire or want or need so that you will not end up exchange your life for what you don't need or less than you need or for nothing.
*Challenge*:
This morning dosage is a challenge to your faith. Count your cost now so that you won't live to count the cost.
The same applicable to your present courtship, relationship, business and all choices you will made or you have make.
