SKIMEH WONDER BOMBARDED FEDERAL SCHOOL OF SURVEYING, OYO. TODAY, 4TH OF OCTOBER,2021.

The Royal blood is working. The Oyo Federal Constituency Representative, Hon Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi is visible everywhere in the Constituency with different Federal projects to add value to people's life and to advance knowledge through an ICT based/ internet facility with a free and faster Wi-fi internet facilities for both Lecturers and Students of the Institution.

It is no longer a novelty in this 21st Century that the major tools to promote standard of living and quality Education centred round Technology, particularly Information Communication Technology.

Hon Prince Akeem Adeyemi have passion for improvement in learning outcomes through technology which to him makes learning more easier, and more interactive. He said Internet assists learners in breaking the barrier of distance, location and time. Learning becomes easier while learners are connected to resource persons across the world. He therefore supply different ICT equipments to enhance the use of free internet facilities in the School.

While thanking Prince Akeem Adeyemi. The Rector, Associate Professor Dupe Nihinlola Olayinka-Dosunmu first of all appreciate God Almighty who used Kabiyesi Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III to ensure her emergence as the first female and first Oyo indigen to be Rector of the Institution. He acknowledged the role of Prince of peace during the appointment exercise that saw her as the Rector.

The Rector being a patriotic daughter of Oyo town built in with a strong passion for Education and the development of the School requested the help of Hon Akeem Adeyemi to assist in getting executive approval for the upgrading of Surveying School to University of Surveying. Responding to this, Hon Adeyemi pledged to do all at his disposal with the aid of his colleagues in the National Assembly to facilitate the upgrading of the Institution. According to him, God that helped him to achieve the upgrading of the Federal College of Education Special, Oyo will do same for Surveying School.
It was a good outing and reception.

It was a huge success today in Oyo Federal Constituency as the party conducted her local government Congress amidst joy and jubilation with great party leaders from Abuja and other states. Also personalities and leaders such as Prince, Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, Engr Idrees Adeoye, Engr Nurudeen Faosy, Hon Asimiyu Alarape and other great men of the party from other states

The Congress was a fantastic one, it was peaceful and interesting, it was hitch free. Members were cheerful and exhibited the spirit of acceptance, cooperation and unity with the zeal to move the party to the highest level.

In the sleepy Igbomina town of Esie, Irepodun LGA Kwara State lays the first museum in Nigeria. The museum was established in 1945 to house one of the greatest treasures ever bequeathed to mankind, Esie Stone Images (Ere Esie).
The museum was the first to be established in Nigeria when it opened in 1945.[1] The museum once housed over one thousand tombstone figures or images representing human beings.[2]

Esie museum established 1945 is located in Irepodun LGA of Kwara State. The museum is known for housing human-shaped stone figures.
It is reputed to have the largest collection of soapstone images in the world.[3] In modern times the Esie museum has been the center of religious activities and hosts a festival in the month of April every year.[4]

Popular myth had it that in years back the residents of the town committed a grave offence and thunderstruck turning the people into stones.

HON. AKEEM ADEYEMI SKIMEH IS AN EMBODIMENT OF QUALITIES TO BE EMULATED.

At the RAINBOW YOUTH GROUP'S decampment programme held at Gbanta Iba-Samu street, Agunpopo area on Saturday 21st Aug, 2021. His royal Highness Hon. AKEEM ADEYEMI SKIMEH made a promise to give Olrounfemole Mosque a new power generator.
To my amazement, Alhaja Peju, Alh. Taofeek and Hon. Alatise brought the new generator on Sunday 22nd. (The following day).

This is actually a gesture and action appreciated by the chairman of Rainbow Group Mr. Nurudeen Oladimeji Elemo, the leader Hon. Akeem Alatise, the Imam of Olorunfemole mosque and the whole Muslim Community

At last, Rainbow Group from the PDP join the APC in Atiba Local Government, the decampment programme was at the instance of our amiable Prince of peace, Hon Akeem Adeyemi Adeniyi this evening at Gbanta area of Agunpopo.

The group has its members from up to seven wards in Atiba Local Government. While presenting his speech, the chairman of the group Nurudeen aka ELEMON expressed his appreciation to Hon Skimeh for all the populist programmes he has implemented and facilitated within the constituency for the welfare and benefits of the people of Oyo Federal Constitiency. Mr Nurudeen Elemon said his group believe in the leadership of Hon Skimeh and in the philosophy of the APC as a party. He promised the team of APC that visited the venue that the party will witness massive vote in the coming election with the assurance that they will try all their best as they did for PDP to win in the last election.
Hon Skimeh at the sport promised to install street light at Gbanta area of Agunpopo, he promised to give members of the group some opportunity in his next ICT empowerment programme, job opportunity with many other political dividends.

TRULY A GREAT ICON AND INDISPENSABLE RESOURCE PERSON

Here is Hon. GANIYU AKEEM ALATISE standing as a Guest Lecturer in the Institute of Education, Social and Civic Studies Department of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife.

Title: YOUTH INCIVILITY AND NIGERIAN DEMOCRACTIC STRUCTURE - SOCIO-CIVIC INSTRUCTIONS ROADMAP

The lecture emphasised on the need to look into youth disposition to their Civic responsibilities/duties and how such can be improved with Socio-Civic Instructions. The lecture also enjoined youth to be more active in promoting national development. He also cautioned political class in exposing youth to violence, thuggery and carrying of arms.
He concluded that we have an emerging generation on the wrong side of history whose mission is mainly to consume and not to produce. 'Here is a wakeup call to an array of sleeping giants.

He also emphasised on the golden philosophical admonition for ideal civil society attainable through right thinking, morally uprightness and social justice and equity, the hub of development, a great philosopher, late Chief Obafemi Awolowo on the pursuit of wealth penned down the following:
‘The pursuit of wealth is not a bad thing in its self because without the food and comforts which wealth provides, life will be penurious and drab, but always remember that any wealth accumulated on a selfish basis, at the expense of the state in defiance of social justice helps to create a disorganized society in which everybody will eat everybody and no one person can be safe' (n.d).

Consequent upon this, there is the need to give proper education to our youth for a better society.
Little wonder the assertion of the famous Radio presenter, Edmond Obilow in one of his popular ‘Eagle Eye’ phone in programme that

‘the children we fail to give right education in the past are the ones constituting nuisance to the society of today’.
All these are good piece of work that can be reference to Dr A.A. Oladiti.
