The University Management has decided to suspend the election for two hours.

Addressing the present observers and agents, Prof. Dosu Malomo, the Dean of Students' Affairs explained that the decision is as a result of the auto-selection complaints received from students and to avoid congestion.

In his words, he said: “We will shut down the server and restart the whole voting process in the next two hours. Please, stay calm and be patient with us.”

The Dean of Students' Affairs, Prof. Dosu Malomo has pleaded with the student populace to be patient.

He explained that the delay in the commencement of voting was caused by network glitches.

In his words, he said: “The university management is fully aware of this delay and is on top of the situation. Please, stay calm and it would be resolved in due time.”

Likewise, the Students' Affairs Officer, Adeyemo Johnson has assured that the voting time would be extended for inclusive participation.
