A wolf spends its whole life with a single partner, it mates with only that partner it’s whole life. It does not mate with its mother or sister. They instinctively avoid in**st.

If its partner dies, the wolf remains alone; it knows its young ones well. Wolves are the only animal that helps their parents after deep old age and brings them food.

They can hardly be kept as pet as they are not as trainable as dogs.

Late Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin, 1st Executive Governor of Ondo State

CHIEF MICHAEL ADEKUNLE AJAS1N, Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR), BA (Durham) Dip. Ed (London), DCL (Sierra Leone) LLD (OSU), LLD (FUTA), Teacher, Head­master, Principal of Imade College, Owo, Proprietor and Principal of Owo High School, Councilor, Council Chairman. Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Governor of old Ondo State, the Asiwaju of Owo, Leader of the Yorubas, Chairman and Leader of Afenifere, Peoples Consultative Forum and National Democratic Coalition was bom in Owo to Peter and Deborah Ajasin on November 28, 1908. The eldest of five children, two of whom survived him - Mrs Rachael Morenike Ojomo and Mrs Mary Ajibola Aiyegbusi.

Education and Early Life
He attended St. James's School, Owo, St. Paul's (later Oloyede Memorial School) and entered St. Andrew's College, Oyo in 1923. He passed out of the College in December 1927 following a brilliant and enviable record. The CMS authority (who were his sponsor) subsequently posted him first to St. Andrew's School, Warri and later to St. Luke's School, Sapele, where he re­mained as Headmaster until 1943 when he left for Fourah Bay College, Freetown, Sierra Leone in the heat of the second World War. He graduated in July 1946 and proceeded to the Univer­sity of London for a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.

He returned to Owo in 1947 to become the Principal of Imade College, (a member of the Aionian Group of Schools) and one of the best schools in Western Nigeria, where he stamped his personality of high discipline, hard work, athletic disposition and academic brilliance on the thousands of pupils who passed through him and who are leaders in the Country today. He founded Owo High School in 1963 and within a short span of time the school has also produced a number of highly placed Nigerians in various spheres of endeavour.

Politics and Public Service
All his life, he was involved in political affairs of the people.

UNCLE Musa.

After living in the United States for 40 years and at the age of 70, Uncle Musa finally relocated to Salagie, The Gambia this year to live in his 5-bedroom house which took him 10 years to complete.

Now in Gambia and in his house, Uncle Musa lives in the living room of the house downstairs while his caretaker lives upstairs in his huge master bedroom.

This is because Uncle Musa cannot climb the stairs without the help of another person.

Even with help, it takes him 10 minutes to make the climb.

As such, Uncle Musa has decided to stay downstairs in the living room as all 5 bedrooms are upstairs.

The house has a living room, toilet and kitchen downstairs; 3 rooms on the first floor and another 2 rooms (including the master bedroom) on the second/last floor.

This is surely not how Uncle Musa anticipated his retirement.

But that is the reality of his journey.

This will be the life of many other Africans living abroad and building mansions back home.

In fact, if you are building a dream house for yourself to live in and the house is not ready by the time you attain the age of 50, forget about it!

Uncle Musa virtually wasted 40 years of his life doing menial jobs abroad, hoping to go and retire back home in his mansion and enjoy life.

But, now he has no life to enjoy and someone else is sleeping in his master bedroom.

Like most aged persons, Uncle Musa is not even able to enjoy a bottle of Malt at his age because it will shoot up his blood sugar level.

Yet, he said he was working hard all his life in order to enjoy life, which includes eating and drinking the finest foods and drinks, when he retires.

Now, he is only able to eat fruit and vegetable salads - and even that, without dressing!

He cannot even eat any of the fine meats out there without his cholesterol sending warning signs.

That is the life of Uncle Musa in retirement?

This will be the story of more than half of us.

The best thing to do is to take mini-retirements now and enjoy the luxuries of life now that you still have the strength to do so!

We must all learn a lesson from the story of Uncle Musa.

The image showcases clothing that has been preserved from the burial of the Egtved Girl, a notable figure from the Bronze Age. The burial took place around 1370 BC in Denmark. On the right side of the image, a contemporary reproduction of her clothing can be seen.

During a summer day in 1370 BC, the Egtved Girl was laid to rest in a Denmark burial mound, inside an oak coffin. Today, only fragments of her hair, brain, teeth, nails, and a small amount of skin remain as remnants of her existence. Analysis of her teeth has revealed that she was between 16 and 18 years old at the time of her death. She had a slender build, stood approximately 5.2 feet tall (160 centimeters), and had short, blond hair and well-maintained nails.

The Egtved Girl was adorned in a short tunic and a knee-length skirt made of cords, as evidenced by the preserved clothing. Placed on her stomach was a belt plate made of bronze, intricately decorated with spirals. This decorative piece possibly represented the sun, a central element in the religious beliefs of the Bronze Age.

Within the burial site, a comb made of horn was discovered, attached to her belt. Bronze rings encircled each of her arms, and she wore a delicate ring in her ear. At the foot of the Egtved Girl, archaeologists found a small bark bucket, believed to have once contained a type of beer.

Nearly 3500 years later, in 1921, the grave of the Egtved Girl was excavated, bringing her story back into the light. Dendrochronology, a method of dating using tree rings, was employed to determine the age of her burial.

❤ Oldest Infant Burial Found In The Netherlands ❤

❤ Dutch archaeologists, have discovered a 6,000 year old Stone Age burial, of a mother cradling a baby in her arm.
It was found in Nieuwegein, and is the oldest infant burial, ever found in the Netherlands.

❤ They also discovered four other skeletons.
One of them was the skeleton of a young woman of 20-30 years of age.
At first they didnt realise there was an infant with the young woman.
It was the woman's right arm bent at an angle, that suggested there was something in her arms.

❤ Archaeologists then discovered small bone fragments, pieces of a clavicle, skull and jawbone complete with milk teeth.
The teeth were so small, they deduced these remains belonged to a newborn.
The archaeological team hope to determine through DNA analysis, that the skeletons are that of a mother and her child.

After completing her Cookathon, famous chef Dammy from Ekiti State was promised a visa to numerous nations, including Ghana, the United States, and the United Kingdom. However, as of right now, she is still in Ekiti, and nothing has been done to fulfill those promises. Please let those who made pledges to keep them so the girl can enjoy her notoriety. She has made Nigerians proud by cooking for a whole 120 hours uninterrupted, thus it's unfair that she is progressively fading from the picture. She came online yesterday to show her support for Hilda Baci, one of her co-chefs, and Adeola from Ondo, who is currently putting in 150 hours to help Hilda Baci. Chef Dammy genuinely deserves to be on par with Hilda or even at a higher level in terms of cooking

Suspected goat th!ef ti.ed to a wooden pole in Cross River community

A man who allegedly st0le a goat in Nyanya community in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River state, was subjected to j^ngle justice by locals.

It was gathered that the suspect was caught by members of the Nyanya Youths Forums (NYF) and t!ed to a wooden pole.

Sharing photos of the suspect last night, July 12, 2023, Nigerian journalist, Solomon Ogar, said members of the public should have handed the alleged goat th!ef to the police instead of taking laws into their hands.
