"This giant Snake 🐍🐍 would have killed my brothers daughter yesterday monday being sit at home but God say no.

"The giant Snake came out from bush and started pursuing the little girl she ran and continued shouting until she failed down. The snake now wanted to swallow the little girl, the father noticed what was going on and saw the big snake, he used knife to scare the snake so he saved the daughter then the snake ran inside the bush.

"After saving his daughter the father was also afraid that this snake can still harm another person because he knows yesterday was sit at home so people did not go to work so he called other people around and narrated the story to them, they now entered the bush in search of the snake, until when the snake came out again and started pursuing people in the bush bcus of how big it is people ran for their life, until when the girls father used Sharp knife and cut off the head of the giant snake."

My Name Deserves To Be In Guinness World Records – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu says his past exploits paved the way for his emergence as president and that he deserves to be listed in the Guinness World Records (GWR).

Speaking to a group of investors on Tuesday at the 10th German-Nigerian Business Forum, Tinubu credited his success to overcoming investment obstacles in Nigeria.

The President said noteworthy accomplishments should be acknowledged and quipped that he was determined to actively pursue the inclusion of his name in the revered Guinness World Records (GWR).

“If you have the fear of various hurdles, just look at me — I am from the private sector, one of you. I was trained by Deloitte and worked for ExxonMobil until I got to become the treasurer of the corporation. So, define corporate governance in any way, and I am in it,” he said.

The former Lagos governor also stated that during his eight-year tenure, he successfully transformed the state from ground zero to become the fifth-largest economy in Africa.

“I governed Lagos for eight consecutive years and, today, I can brag, beat my chest that Lagos is on the horizon; it’s the fifth-largest economy in Africa from zero,” Tinubu said.

“That is a track record that I can use to assure you and that is the track record that got me into this office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Emphasising his commitment to reforms, he humorously remarked that if not recognised, he would strive to insert himself into the Guinness Book of Records for his achievements as Nigeria’s president.

“Nigeria voted for me for reforms and from day one of my inauguration, I started the reforms. To me, if you didn’t mention me in the Guinness Book of Records, I’d strive to find a way to insert myself because I did it without expectation,” he said.

MY EXPERIENCE IN YORUBA LAND;;;

I remembered the first time I visited Yoruba land being Osun state for a program!!
Rightly on my way,, All passengers became hungry and tensed, So our kind driver stopped us alongside of Ibadan in Oyo state where we were directed to a nearby restaurant of Madam '''Hajia" whose meal was all talk of the town,, I became so happy when I heard about her by the driver..

Honestly! That day made me realised that every tribes has their native meal everyone enjoys😊...

Perhaps!! My choice of food was rice and stew buh unfortunately I couldn't get it rather I was seeing different men of Calibre in their Agbada dresses coming to enjoy this 📞👇...
I became so confused but at the same time, I acted not to let people know that I was a stranger in that land🙄...
What can I do?? I asked myself coz it was my first time to see such combination of Food...😅

Man sentenced to 12 years and deportation after preying on young girl in the UK . .

A r@pist who att@cked a young woman after going "on the prowl" for a victim will be deported at the end of a 12-year prison sentence.

Nigerian national, Lazarus Olleh, 38, had been in the UK for about six weeks when he targeted the 18-year- old in Hull in the early hours of 29 October last year.

Olleh parked in a taxi rank outside Propaganda nightclub before coaxing the woman, who had been at a Halloween-themed night and was drunk. DNA tests confirmed Olleh, of Belmont Street, Hull, had s3x with the woman.

He denied r@pe but was convicted by a jury. He will face deportation back to Nigeria after serving his 12-year jail term.

Jailed Anambra corper petitions CJ

Justus Ijeoma, the defence counsel for a jailed member of the National Youth Service Corps serving in Anambra State, Nnamdi Daniel Emeh, has petitioned the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja over his client’s continued imprisonment despite the court’s bail.

Ijeoma, in the petition on Tuesday, accused the Deputy Chief Registrar, Federal High Court in Awka, Nkem Mba, of alleged “unprofessional conduct” in processing his client’s bail.

In the petition copied to the Administrative Judge, Federal High Court, Awka Division, and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, the lawyer alleged that the Mba was deliberately refusing to process the bail of his client because his client refused to pay the N1m bribe she demanded in that respect.

The petition was titled, “A Petition Against the Deputy Chief Registrar, Awka Division of the Federal High Court. Re: Charge No. FHC/AWK/C/60/2023, The Inspector General of Police Vs. Emeh Nnamdi Daniel.”

The lawyer insisted that his client had met all the bail conditions as demanded by the court.

The petition read, “We are counsel to the defendant in the above-mentioned case, who is in custody, and by whose instruction and consent we write to Your Lordship. We shall hereinafter, where the context permits, simply refer to him as the defendant.

“The defendant, a serving youth corper with the Anambra State Police Command, was arraigned on a 12-count charge bothering on, among other things, “making false publications against the OC Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS” and “stealing” before my lord, Hon Justice F. O. Riman, on April 25, 2023.
“Consequently, the defendant was admitted to bail by the court on May 17, 2023.”

It also noted that all necessary terms for bail were promptly followed up and met, but the DCR (Mba) has frustrated all efforts made.

“The unfavourable disposition of the DCR started when she, sometime in May 2023, when we commenced the process of perfecting the bail of the defendant, had demanded that we should pay her the sum of one million Naira (N1,000,000.00) as the bail processing fees.

“We refused and told her that the defendant’s family does not have such money to pay and that such payment does not form part of the order of the court. Since then, she has been acting in the most unprofessional ways towards the process of perfecting the defendant’s bail. The circus of delay has continued without any respite in sight.

“Wherefore, we pray my Lord to direct that this matter be investigated with a view to curbing corruption and bringing the unscrupulous to justice. We cannot allow the DCR to continue as if attaining any position in public service is a license to act at one’s whims and caprices. Thank you, my noble lord, in anticipation that this petition will receive your kind judicial attention in the interest of justice,” the statement continued.

But in a swift reaction over the telephone, the DCR (Mba) denied the allegations, insisting that she does not collect bribes to perform her job.

She said, “I don’t collect bribes to perform my official duties. He who asserts must prove. It was actually the father of the boy (Emeh) who offered me a bribe in the presence of my staff, but I rejected his bribe.

“I won’t disclose the amount offered me, but the bribe was offered in the presence of my staff, and I rejected it. I don’t know whether it was one naira, two naira, or three naira.

“Why Emeh had not been released was because he had not met his bail conditions, stressing that any day he would meet his bail conditions, I would forward his name to the judge accordingly for action.”
She, however, threatened to report the allegations to the police following inquiries.

It would be recalled that Emeh, a whistleblower, had escaped from the country, alleging threats to his life after the publication of allegations of extrajudicial killings, and others had indicted some police officers of the Anambra State Command.

He was tracked by the Nigerian Police working with the INTERPOL and arrested in Benin Republic, where he had escaped.

He was returned to Nigeria and detained at the Force Headquarters for several weeks amidst fears for his safety.

After about two months in custody in Abuja, he was taken to Anambra State Police Command Headquarters, which also detained him for a while before eventually charging and arraigning him for, among other offenses, impersonating a senior police officer.

Police Confirm Five Dead As Tanker Explodes In Delta

The Police Command in Delta State has confirmed that five persons lost their lives in a petrol tanker explosion in the State.

The spokesman of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, made this known on Sunday.

Pmnews.ng had reported that many were feared dead and cars burnt as a tanker laden with fuel exploded in Delta on Sunday.

Edafe said the incident occurred at Ugbenu in Ethiope West Local Government Area (LGA) of the State.

He said that the tanker, laden with petrol, was heading towards Benin City in the morning when the unfortunate incident happened.

“In the early hours of Oct. 1, 2023, at about 0200hrs, the Command recorded a tragic incident where a tanker, laden with petroleum product, being driven towards Benin on the Warri-Benin Road fell at Ugbenu Koko Junction.

“Its content spilled into the nearby swamp and the spillage attracted a couple of youths who took advantage of the incident and started scooping fuel into jerry cans and other containers.

“While they were at it, an explosion erupted and the fire from the explosion engulfed the whole area.

“The fire claimed the lives of five persons among the youths who had come to scoop fuel,” Edafe said.

He said that several properties, including eight buses of different makes, two tankers, five trailers, two motorcycles, a Sienna space wagon and a ‘C’ Class Mercedes Benz car were also burnt.

Edafe added that the remains of the victims had been deposited at the Oghara General Hospital’s morgue in Ethiope West.

He said that the police operatives attached to the Oghara division, in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) at Ethiope West, had mobilised to the scene to ensure the free flow of traffic.
