The Member Representing Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency Hon. Attorney Dr Matthew Nwogu has presented a strong motion to end incessant dehumanization and harassment of road travellers by Security Agents in South East.

Alarmed at the brazen manner in which travellers within the Southeast are forcefully moved out from their Cars/Vehicles by Security Agents and ordered to walk some kilometers with their - hands raised above their heads thus dehumanizing and portraying them as common criminals or prisoners, creating the feeling of discontentment, social unrest and creating the feeling of a conquered territory.

The Legal luminary turned Legislator urges the Inspector General of Police (IG) to identify, discipline and call to order the Police Officers perpetuating these inhuman and degrading treatments on the road travellers along Southeast Geopolitical Zone to desist from such act of unprofessional conduct and to carry out their duties professionally.
