COL. EMMANUEL NWOBOSI IS DEAD

A former Nigerian and Biafran soldier, Col. Emmanuel Nworah Nwobosi, is dead.

The elder statesman died at the age of 82 on Tuesday.

Col Nwobosi was formally Captain in the Nigerian Army, and Colonel in the defunct Biafran Army, as well as Chief of Staff to the late Biafran leader, General Emeka Ojukwu.

He died on Tuesday at his Obosi in Idemili North Local Government of Anambra State, his country home.

Hon. Emmanuel Nwobosi (jnr) on behalf of the family, said that the patriarch died after a brief illness associated with old age.

He said further that the family will give details of his funeral arrangement later.

“Yes, my father, Col Emma Nworah Nwobosi, is dead. He died today (Tuesday) after a brief illness, reasonably associated with old age,” he said, according to the Sun.

Sadly, our current leaders started leading as youths.

Check their respective ages and subtract the last 20 years of democracy from it and let's see what we have.

Let's take Rotimi Amaechi for instance.

He is 55 now.

He's 6 years into Minister. That means he became Minister at 49.

He was Governor for 8 years. That means he became Governor at 41. Prior that, he was Speaker for 8 years, that means he was Speaker at 33. Freaking 33!

How youth can youth be!

Do the maths for all of them and you will see that youth has brought us nothing.

Fashola is 57.

He was in Tinubu's Cabinet.

Tinubu became Governor 21 years ago.

Remove 21 from 57, that's 36.

How youth can youth be?

Wike is 53.

He has been in power for the last 15/20 years.
That's 33-35.

How youth can youth be?

Dimeji Bankole was a freaking 37 as Speaker in the National Assembly.

Ahmed Lawan is 61.

He is been in the assembly since 1999. That was 21 years ago at the age of 40.

Even if President Buhari is 80yrs now, he was head of state in 1983, 37yrs ago, remove that from 80, that means he became the Head of State at the age of 43yrs and has bn instrumental corridor of power ever since.

See what we have.

What did we gain?

We don't need the youths.
We need a change of mindset and attitude, we need a change in the way parents nurture and train their children.

Both young and old.

Else, it's the same story.

Youths have always been in power!
They became old in power!

Biafra must be a reality. We are tired of this phools ruling us.

Cautions To Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Before I proceed with this article, I must reiterate my loyalty to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and my recognition of him as my/our leader in the struggle to restore the sovereignty State of Biafra. I hail you my leader, MNK.

Few days ago in your broadcast, you openly threatened President Donald J Trump, the sitting president of the United States of America and that didn't go well with majority of people here in the USA and the president is now aware of your threat on him.

Because, former Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee for the presidential election in November condemned the shootng of our Youths at Lekki, you publicly warned President Trump that he must also condemn the Lekki killings or else, he will loose the base of his Biafran voters. You further said that we will vote Democratic if he (Trump) didn't obey your order.

My leader, you are a very intelligent man and you know better than that. As a sitting president, they are certain things he will not say publicly. As for Joseph Bidden, he can say whatever he wants because he is not a sitting president.

The Democratic Party will not help Biafra in any form or shape because they are collections of bureaucratic liberals. ( Am not insinuating that the Republicans will help Biafra either). Besides, it was Barack Obama and Joseph Biden that put us in this mess we are in Nigeria now by removing President Good luck Jonathan and installing Buhari.

Please my leader, let us not shot ourselves on the foot by interfering negatively in this upcoming U.S. Presidential elections. May God bless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. May God bless all of us and may God bless Biafra.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the death of his longtime friend and associate, Malam Isma’ila Isa Funtua.

DAILY POST had reported that Funtua reportedly died of cardiac arrest on Monday.

The elder statesman was a Life Patron of International Press Institute and Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

Reacting, Buhari in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity, Garba Shehu, commiserated with family members, government and people of Katsina State, and all associates of the former President of NPAN, especially the media industry, on the loss.

He described him as “greatly admired and respected’’.
