As I mark yet another year of divine favour, I sincerely appreciate the good people of Imo State for their constant prayers and unwavering support. Your faith in me strengthens my resolve, and I assure you that I will not let you down in this journey of service and beyond.

I pray that God continues to bless me with wisdom, strength and long life in good health, so I may keep serving Him and humanity wholeheartedly.

Globally, religious cities often become catalysts for development and economic growth, and I am particularly pleased to see that Zion Ministry, under the leadership of Evangelist Chukwuebuka Obi, has returned home to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our dear State.

While receiving him at the Government House after the successful three-day crusade at the Ministry's new permanent site in Ngor Okpala, I expressed my sincere appreciation for his commitment to our State. His decision to establish the Ministry's base here is a significant contribution to the building of a more vibrant and economically stable region.

I assured Evangelist Obi of our unwavering support as his Ministry settles into its new home. We remain fully committed to providing the necessary assistance to ensure that Zion Ministry continues to thrive and positively impact our State and its people.

I am deeply saddened by the tragic accident that claimed the life of Coach Christian Obi. He was a perfect gentleman whose dedication to Heartland FC was evident in every aspect of his work.

Coach Obi poured his heart and expertise into the club, always striving to see it flourish. His passion, leadership and kindness touched the lives of many, and his loss will be felt profoundly by all who knew him.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, the Heartland FC family and everyone affected by this tragedy. May God grant you all the strength to endure this painful loss and bring you comfort in the days ahead. The Government is ensuring that those hospitalized fully recover from the injuries.

We reaffirmed our commitment to the progress and security of our region at the South East Governors' Forum meeting where we had comprehensive deliberations, reviewing the report from the recent South East Security and Economic Summit held in Owerri.

This review is crucial as we strive to implement strategies that will enhance development and ensure the safety of all residents. This include a significant resolution on our collective decision to approach President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the aim to secure the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kalu.

These resolutions reflect our dedication to promoting a secured and prosperous environment for our people. We remain committed to these goals, knowing that they are vital for the continued advancement of our beloved region.

In our ongoing efforts to enhance the security of lives and properties across the State. We have delivered 11 refurbished Armoured Personnel Carriers and 32 operational vehicles to the Nigerian Police Force, Imo State Command.

This addresses the pressing need for improved mobility and operational readiness within the Command, which had been hampered by increasingly dilapidated vehicles, and by refurbishing them, we reaffirm our dedication to equipping the Police with the necessary tools to effectively combat crime and maintain public order.

I commend the Officers and Men of the Imo State Command for their unwavering dedication to service. Your professionalism and courage are vital to the safety and security of our communities. I urge you to continue in this line of duty with the same level of commitment and integrity.

The State Government remains steadfast in its support for all our security agencies. We will not relent in our responsibility to guarantee the safety of every citizen by ensuring a safer and more secured environment for all.
