*NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA, IMO STATE CHAPTER INAUGURATES DIRECTORS.*
The Chairman NYCN Imo State Chapter Comrade Humphrey Osuji has inaugurated the Directors of the various Directorates of the Youth Council in-line with the provisions of Article 16 of the instant law of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
The epoch making event which took place at the Council hall of the Imo Youth House situated opposite Concorde Hotel New Owerri had in attendance the State Executive Council members and the Local Government Area Coordinators.
Performing the inauguration, the secretary, legal and human Right of the Council Barr Collins Okonkwo administered the oath of office to the 20 distinguished and carefully chosen Directors who are to man the statutory Directorates of the Youth Council.
In his inaugural remarks, the State Chairman Comrade Humphrey Osuji charged the Directors to be alive to their distinctive Directorates and see the opportunity as a call for service towards Rebuilding the Imo State Chapter of NYCN while assuring them of his unalloyed supports and continuous encouragements in the realization of the set goals and objectives of the Council.
Speaking on behalf of the Directors, Comrade Ahamefule Bright (Director, Media, Publicity & ICT) expressed an unreserved gratitude to the State Chairman for digging deep to nominate seasoned Imo Youths who are richly experienced in the activities of Youth Affairs in the State and beyond to head the various Directorates while assuring him of their unflinching commitment to deliver on their various mandates.
Whilst applauding the Chairman for his careful nomination of visionary Imo Youths who would now bring their wealth of experience to bear in the Rebuilding of the Council, Evangelist Peter Chima commended the Governor His Excellency, Sen. Hope Uzodinma for his magnanimity in the swift allocation of offices for the daily activities of the Council through the the intervention of the pragmatic SA Youth Affairs
