In the wake of the recent happenings and the untimely demise of the late Minister Osinachi Nwachukwu, which has generated a lot of mixed reactions globally, I have tried to stay out of my emotions to fully grasp what has happened and also give an unbiased side of things.
Having had the privilege to have met her, related with her and worked with her and was also granted the opportunity to interview her personally as the first and only interview she has ever granted on camera, and also having had the course to talk to her husband Mr. Peter Nwachukwu, concerning her music and promotions, I wouldn’t say I didn’t have a stint of what was going on around them, at least my journalistic training will make me ask questions.
That said, rather than drawing emotional conclusions, in the light of the word of God in 1Corinthians 13:4-8 (amp), I’ll rather say that Osinachi Nwachukwu is a woman that truly loved, and I feel she’ll also want to be seen and spoken of in that way, despite the circumstances surrounding her demise.
She endured long, and was patient and kind. She rather gave credit to her husband for her ministry rather than display herself haughtily even though she had the voice and made most of the money. She wasn’t arrogant nor inflated with pride nor was she rude. Always smiling in spite of the hurt inside. She never insisted on her rights and her way even though she could use it. (Personally, I would have termed it foolishness sha….but that’s not what the Word says). She didn’t take account of the evil done to her nor paid attention to the suffered wrong.(Was she threatened? Was she afraid of his reactions? that I don’t know) She bore everything that came and was ready to believe the best of her husband. (She believed he would change). So she endured everything given the prevailing circumstances. What a woman!
The question is, would I have done the same under the same circumstances? Would you?
