وصلى الله على النبى الكريم
فَهُــوَ سِلاَحِي وَهْوَ سَيْفِي وَمِغْفَرِي

بِـــــهِ رُدَّ عَنِّـــي مَكْــرُ كُـلِّ فَقِيـــهِ

عَلَيْـــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ

وَيَشْفَــــعُ فِينَـا فَهْـوَ خَيْــرُ وَجِيــهِ

عَلَيْــــهِ صَــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ

بِهَا يَصْطَفِينِـي فَــوْقَ كُلِّ نَزِيــهِ

عَلَيْـــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ

وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَـــابٍ وَكُلِّ ذَوِيــهِ

عَلَيْــهِ مِــنَ الْعَبْدِ الْخَدِيمِ تَحِيَّــةٌ

تَفُوقُ تَحَايَــا الْكُـلِّ فُـــوهُ لِفِيــهِ

اللهم صل على سيدنا محمد الفاتح لمااعغلق والخاتم لماسبق ناصر الحق باالحق ولهادى الى صراطا المستقيم و على اله حق قدره و مقدره العظيم

HIS LETTER TO THE DRIED RIVER IN MAURITANIAN.

When the river of Mauritania dried up and there was lack of water to drink, bath and to use for worship.

The people of Mauritania strive hard to provide much water in the city but to no avail.

They then, contacted world Sheikh Alhaji Ibrahim Niasse رضي الله عنه, to pray for them with regards the issue. So he took up his pen and wrote to the river a letter, which reads that :
____

In the name of Allah.

From Ibrahim Ibn Abdullahi Niasse to the river of Mauritania, peace be upon whosoever follows the path of guidance.

Thereafter, i call on you (the river), if your flowing is by the knowledge and permission of Allah, begin to flow now but if not, do not.

Then, he asked them to take the letter and drop it on the dried source of the river.

Scarcely had the letter touched the ground, the river began to flow, by the permission of Allah within a twinkle of an eye..

من بعض كرامة الشيخ الحاج إبراهيم إنياس .....
لما جفت بحار بلاد المرتانى وفقدوا لماء للشرب وللغسل حتى للعبادة,فحاولوا كل محاولة لتوفير المياء فى البلاد ولكنهم فشلوا ولم يوفقوا,ثم جاءوا إلى الشيخ الحاج إبراهيم إنياس ليدعو الله لهم فى ذلك,فكتب الشيخ إلى البحر رسالة مطلعها.....:
بسم الله ........من إبراهيم عبدالله إلى بحر المرتانى ,والسلام على من اتبع الهدى.
فإنى أدعوكِ إن كنتِ تجرى بإذن الله فلتجر وإلا فلا...........
ثم أمر الشيخ الإسلام بإلقائها فى البحر(أرضه اليابسة) فبمجرد نزولها فيه بدأ البحر يجرى بقدرة الله ما بين طرفة عين....................

Today marks the 35th Remembrance Anniversary of our Sage, Shaykh Jami'u Bulala. May Allah sanctify his precious secrets(RTA)
March 5th 1989- March 5th 2024

"History has its truth, and so has legend...". "Legends are best left as legends and attempts to make them real are rarely successful"
History was made in Makkah in 570AD when the legend of all time, the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was born in the Holy city of Makkah. The same history was made in 632AD when the Prophet(SAW) died.
To the Sufiyyun of the contemporary age, history is replete with the birth of the great legend, the succour of the age(Gawthul zaman), Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse in 1900 at Tayba-Niass. The same history was made when he passed on in London around 1975. In the same vein, history was made in 1919 when our own legend, our kinsman, the master of saints, Shaykh Jami'u Amao Bulala was born in Offa. This same history repeated itself when he died in Offa on 5th March, 1989. May Allah be pleased with his soul.
Most legends were not recognised while being alive until they passed on. This is what is obtainable in the personality of Shaykh Jami'u who has put our town into limelight among enviable towns. Verily the city of Makkah would not have attained such lofty position without the personality of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), the city of Kawlakh would not have been a home for the breeding and baking of protégés without the personality of Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse. Certainly, Offa as a town, would not have been a prominent town in Yorubaland without the personality of Shaykh Jami'u. Albeit, his eccentric way of life which led many to brand him as a mad man, the man actually left an indelible imprint in the sands of time.
In the Sufi parlance, we don't say our saints 'have dead', rather we say 'they died' in tandem with Qur'an 3:169, i.e "Think not of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead, Nay, they are alive with their Lord, and they have provisions." Thus, I succinctly submit that Shaykh Jami'u is a legend whose legacy will continue to live on. May the mercy of Allah never elude him and his household. RadiyaLlahu ta'ala anihu

Hajj Mahmud ibn Hassan Dantata of Kano Narrated that one day shaykh Ibrahim Niasse Rta was sitting in the compound of his house (Medinà Baye) whiles holding his Subha doing zikir.

Many people were sitting around him, Mahmud Dantata took a fan and started fanning Baye Niasse until he became heavy, slept off and the Subha fell off from his hands. Baye didn't move for almost 20 secs.

Mahmud in his heart started saying," ﻓﻬﻞ ﺍﻟﻐﻮﺙ ﻳﻨﺎﻡ؟
Does the Gauth sleep?

He kept repeating that in his heart until Baye woke up, turn his face to him for him to know that he heard what he said in his heart and he replied him,

ﺍﻟﻐﻮﺙ ﻳﻨﺎﻡ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻴﻦ ﻭﻻ ﻳﻨﺎﻡ ﺑﺎﻟﻘﻠﺐ .

The Gawth sleeps with his eyes but doesn't sleep with his heart. Or the eyes of the Gauth wth sleeps but his heart doesn't sleep.

Then the fan fell off from the hands of Mahmud out of fear and shock, he started shaking until he fainted.

He was taken quickly to his apartment and after he woke up, people asked him why he fainted.
He said," I was saying in my heart does Gawth sleeps? Then he woke up and replied yes he sleeps with his eyes but doesn't sleep with his heart. This made me terrified till I fainted...
