*THE NEED FOR SATISFACTION*

READING: Genesis 9:21-25
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.

24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

*MESSAGE*
Utility according to economics means: The ability of a commodity to satisfy needs or wants; the satisfaction experienced by the consumer of that commodity.
Every individual get satisfaction from one things or another, some people get satisfaction from eating and drinking; while some, is in committing atrocities and others they get their satisfaction from serving the Lord. There is nothing bad in satisfying your needs but that need is it to your peril or good?

Brethren, in Genesis 9:24 the need for satisfaction compel Noah lay curse upon his son... Likewise, in Genesis 19:30-36 the need for satisfaction brought abomination to the family of Lot when his daughter gave him what he love most( Drink) and they slept with him... Gen. 49:3-4 Reuben was coursed due to the satisfaction of uncontrollable sexual urge and 2King 5:21-27 Gehazi received leprosy for greediness and uncontrollable satisfaction for money. If you check your heart very well, there is a particular thing in your life that if you don't do it, you don't feel satisfied... Be careful so that the needs for satisfaction will not cut your life short.

Brethren, You bye pass your spouse to commit adultery because of needs for satisfaction, you put all the blames on your spouse saying, she/he doesn't have the strength to satisfied his/her urge/needs; you prefer to forge that signature, kidnap and killed a fellow just to meet unsatisfied needs for money... You are going to suffer the consequences and not only will you suffer this fruit that you are planting because your children will reap the seed you sow thereof.

*Prayer Point*
Father, deliver me from the sin cause by my needs for satisfaction in Jesus name. Amen.

*GREATER HEIGHTS*

READING: 1 Kings 1:37 As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.

*MESSAGE*
Men are in category, some are born into riches while some struggle to make wealth. Making wealth is not about hard work, smartness, connection etc. It's about God's favour and mercy.

_Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all._

God is a lifter of heads, when He chose to change your level, nobody on earth can stop Him. The bible says in _Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven._ every declaration of God concerning your life family, marriage and business is forever settle in the name of Jesus. Amen.

In 1King 1:37 David was great but his son solomon was greater than him.

"I pray, you will be greater than your parents in the name of Jesus. Amen."

Solomon was favoured by God that whatsoever he lay hands upon prosper. It wasn't because solomon was righteous but because of God's mercy over Him.

"I decree, you will enjoy God's mercy and favour in all your doings in the name of Jesus. Amen."

In conclusion, for God to change your status you need to Surrender your life, family, marriage, and business unto to God; let prayer envelope you always, through that you can shake the world; let giving arms be your lifestyles, just like solomon did to receive the greatest blessing of riches and wealth.

_Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again._

THEME: DON'T LOOK DOWN

READING: Numbers 21:8-9
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

*MESSAGE*
A house painter was at work atop a tall ladder that leaned against the second-story gable of a house. A small boy playing about the yard discovered the ladder, and as is natural for small boys, he began to climb it. His mother, checking on her child, was shocked to find that he was more than half way to the top of the ladder.
As the woman stifled a scream of panic, the man at the top looked down, saw the child, and instantly perceived the danger. Signaling the mother to be silent, he calmly said to the child, “Look up, sonny, look up here to me, and keep climbing.” Rung by rung, he coaxed the child ever higher: “Come on now, keep looking up, keep coming.” At last, the child safe in his arms, the painter carried him safely to the ground.

Each of us is somewhere on a ladder. If we look down, we may be terrified. God is saying, “Look up to me; keep looking up, and I will raise you up to enjoy My presence and fellowship with Me.
God calls you to step up by His grace and your faith in Christ to a higher level of living, a level of God’s grace and forgiveness.

To look down means you are capable of handling any situation by yourself and it wasn't palatable for the people of Israel when the Lord put danger among them. If you must live stop looking down.

_Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God._

In Conclusion, keep looking unto Jesus who is able to safe you in the days of trouble. But if you are not a friend of Jesus, He can't help you at all. If you must look unto Him, you must first reconcile with Him like of the Israelites in _Numbers 21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people._
After then just keep looking unto Him for anything, Jesus will answer.
Surrender your life to Jesus today, tomorrow maybe too late.

Father, I'm looking up to you, arise for my help and deliver me from the enemy stronger than me in Jesus name. Amen.

_Nehemiah 6:12 And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him._

✓ Every negative pronouncement over your life, family, job and business. Shall not stand!!!

✓ Every Sanballat and Tobiah in your life seeking for your downfall. Be silenced forever!!!

_Numbers 24:10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times._

✓ Every gathering against you and your family with the intent to curse you. Be disappointed!!!

✓ Every curse direct or indirect over you and your loved ones. Be broken forever!!!

✓ Balak and Balaam were frustrated. Your enemies shall be frustrated!!!

_1 Samuel 30:8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all._

✓ Every pursuit of your life, you shall overtake!!! The remaining days of this year, every opportunities you have lost from January to this day. Receive divine restoration!!!

✓ From January to December 2022. You shall be blessed and also be a blessing unto others!!!

I pray for you and your family, the plan of the enemy over you shall not stand! Every negative pronouncement over your destiny by the power in the name of Jesus be silenced forever! *GRAVITY SUSPENDED!*

*READING:* Matthew 14:28-34. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

*MESSAGE*
Gravity is the state or condition of having weight; heaviness. In 2King 6:5-6 the gravity was first suspended by Prophet Elisha, floated an axe on the water. In Matthew 14:25-26 Jesus seconded suspension of gravity by walking on the sea and the third gravity suspension was by Peter in Matthew 14:28-29. But Peter degravitated through fear and doubt.

✓ There is nothing impossible in life. Nothing is impossible when you want to fulfill a dream. A lot of people will tell you that you can't do it, that you don't have what it takes, but if it is in your heart and you feel it, there is nothing that will stop you. It is like the sun - you can't block it: it will shine regardless, if that is what you want.

Jesus said to all of us and His still saying it to you now in; _Matthew 14:31b. And said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?_

All you need to do is trust in Him and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

✓ Gravity can also be liking to the heavy weight on your shoulder, what is the mass of that problem that you think it has no solution? Look at what the servant of Elisha said in _2 Kings 6:5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed._

What is the amount of the money you are owing the bank or the people that God can not pay? How much is the school fees of your children that you think stealing from your office is the best solution, what happened when you are caught? The government or pension company had refused to pay your allowance and you think they will not pay it again. That is an error and a wrong mindset because nobody can cheat a child of God and go scot free. God can decide to flog the fellow with cane to bring victory to you. In _Genesis 12:17 And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife._

Nobody on earth can take what belong to you because God will fight. In a nutshell, there is no weight the Lord can not bring down or carry for you.

"I decree, any man born by woman holding you against your will, taking what belong to you or your inheritance for is own. Be plague now with incurable disease in Jesus name. Amen."

In conclusion, _Exodus 1:19 And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them._
Let me rephrase the testimony in the above verse, the children of God are not like other people of the world who survived to get things done and ends up becoming slaves to the devil through fe**sh way of solving their problems. This simply means if you have already surrender your life to Jesus there is nothing you are aspiring for that will be impossible for you.
_Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible._

2:18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
2:19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king? 2:20 Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.

*PRAYER POINT*

_Father, thank you for waking me up this morning and for given me another chance to rebuild my life in Jesus name. Amen_

1. Every force or forces that is happy for me to fail – EXPOSE THEM.

2. Every power that is actively pursuing my downfall – BRING THEM DOWN.

*ENDURANCE*

*READING:* 2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

*MESSAGE*
Endurance is the ability to persevere in a task or calling. The Christian is called to endure in the face of trial or opposition, and his endurance brings spiritual rewards.

✓ Endurance as well means that Christians will have to tolerate insults and injustice,
but through persistence in prayer and the inward work of the Holy Spirit, they will be able to rejoice through it all.

_1 Corinthians 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?_

✓ Endurance also means that Christians must always persevere, no matter what the difficulties and temptations brings. They must maintain their faith in Christ firm to the end.

_Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved._

✓ God has made it plain that his people will at times meet suffering, hardship, persecution and other trials. Through their endurance, however, they will prove God’s grace.

What must a Christian do when faced with disappointment, disaster, and despair?

✓ Scripture teaches us that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).faithfulness and develop true Christian character.

✓ When you respond to God’s grace and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are “born again” into the Kingdom of God. At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in your spirit. He confirms your relationship with God, comforts you, and leads you into all truth.

_Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:_

✓ God begins the supernatural work of transforming you, His child, into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ, Who was and is perfect.

_Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren._

✓ As you mature in your faith, God uses tests and trials to develop your character and ministry. By responding to trials in the grace of God, you will experience the power of God’s Spirit, which will be manifested in your life through the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22–23.

In Conclusion: I Peter 4:12–13 says; “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy”.

Oh Lord, I need the grace to endure even till the end in Jesus name. Amen.

*THE LORD IS ON YOUR SIDE*

*READING:* 2 Kings 7:1 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

*MESSAGE*
The Lord is mighty and powerful doing what pleases Him. When He stand to favour you, no demon or man or devil can stop Him.

The scripture says;
_Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven._

Likewise, when God is on your side no battle great that you can't conquered. In Judges 9:50-54. God fight for the people of Thebez through a woman that had no identity, influence and no battle experience because when God decided to fight your battle no devil can stop Him. God through this woman disgraced Abimelech and his company. So when God is on your side no man on earth can terrorize you.

In 2king 7:1 the Lord was on the side of the people of Samaria that He saved them from the enemy that besiege them. The besiege got to a level were mother's eat their children when hunger stroke, the whole leadership of that community couldn't do anything to solve the problem even the king was perplexed. But when the Lord Arise to defend Samaria He need no soldiers to fight, He need no weapon to destroy His enemy. He only make a noice and all the enemy of Samarians ran away.

"I decree, from now henceforth, no power will terrorize you again in the name of Jesus. Amen."

Brethren, you can't bring God to your side when you still leave in sin, God is not a friend to a sinner who can't control themselves and if God is not on your side, you are in deep trouble from the hand of the devil because he will deals with you at will.

In Conclusion: You have nothing to loose if you surrender your life to Jesus instead you have more to gain. Surrender your life to Jesus today and be on the saver side.

*Prayer*
I pray, the Lord will be on your side, He will fight all your battle for you. The Lord will translocate you to the higher realm of glory the season in the name of Jesus. Amen.

*THE WEIGHT LIFTER*

*READING:* 1 Peter 5:6-7. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

*MESSAGE*
Weights are those things that bog us down and pull on our spirits so much that we have no joy or peace.

We walk out the door to chase the dream of reaching a place in life where we can just relax a little and enjoy life because the bills are paid and our family’s needs are met. But somehow, along the way, at least for me, those bills never seem to go away. No matter how hard we work, or how much we try, it seems that we are caught in a cage, like a hamster just running for all he is worth, but never getting anywhere.

Every day that I wake up, I know that I must run this race of life as fast as I can, or I will be left behind and relegated to the place of irrelevance in the minds of men. If I am unable to keep up the pace, or if I stop to rest for too long, the world will go on and I will be left behind and cast aside just like an old shoe that no one wants anymore. But if the running become tougher and the load heavier, what should you do? Don't carry that weight all alone let Jesus help you out.

I often hear Christians say how stressed they are, how they worry about everything. I sometimes have to remind myself to be at peace and know that God will take care of me. when I feel some sort of pressure from everyday life, my trust is not in myself or others, but in the living God. He promises never to leave me nor forsake me. all I have to do is remember that He has brought me out of trials before and He can do it again.
Are you carrying burdens on your shoulders, loaded down with the cares of this life? What you need to know is that you can let Jesus have anything that is burdening you.

He said to cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:6-7). The Bible also tells us to “lay aside every weight that does so easily beset us” (Hebrews 12:1).

*Conclusion:* Brethren, let us give those needless weights that we carry around to Jesus. Just drop those weights! Allow the Lord to lighten your load.

*Prayer*
I pray from this day on, Heaven will lift your load and give you peace all round in Jesus name. Amen.

*OPPORTUNITY COMES BUT ONCE*

*Reading:* Ecclesiastes 9:11.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

*Message:* There are two likely possibility to your greatness in life, "choice and chance". Opportunity is a chance for advancement, progress or profit while a choice is an option; a decision; an opportunity to choose or select something...
We are faced with this two possible realities, is either you get things done by yourself as you feel better or God brings you an opportunity which maybe once or twice but second chance is rearl.

Let me offer why christians don't take opportunity seriously:

First, opportunities are often disguised as problems. Too often what we perceive as obstacles—no money, no machinery, no methodology, no manpower—are God’s opportunities in disguise. Don’t miss an opportunity because it’s dressed up in a misleading costume and is looking like a problem.

Second, opportunities are often tested by opposition.
Some people have gotten halfway through an open door and turned around when they encountered opposition. They thought, “We must not have heard God correctly. This opposition can’t be from God.” If Paul anticipated opposition when going through God’s open doors, we should too (1 Corinthians 16:8-9).

Opposition can actually be a sign that you heard God correctly and that Satan is doing all he can to discourage you and cause you to turn around.

Paul and Barnabas warned the churches in Asia Minor, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22). Entering the kingdom refers not only to enjoying eternal salvation, but also to experiencing all the blessings God has in store for those who love Him (1 Corinthian 2:9). If God wants you to prosper in any way, you can be sure Satan does not. And your enemy will not sit idly by and watch you be blessed by your generous heavenly Father. Don’t miss a blessing-filled Christian life by trying to have a problem-free Christian life.

Third, opportunities are often time sensitive. If you fail to seize an opportunity God puts before you, it doesn’t necessarily mean God is finished with you. But it probably means He will turn to someone else who will jump at the opportunity.

Do you remember what Jesus told the Jewish leaders when they failed to grasp that He was their long-awaited messiah? “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it” (Matthew 21:43). As a result of Israel’s reluctance to walk through the door of salvation before them, God turned to the Gentiles and offered them the Gospel. Israel will yet have an opportunity to embrace Jesus, but only many long, sad centuries after missing their first opportunity (Zechariah 12:10).

*Conclusion:* Don’t let hesitation become procrastination that leads to devastation

*Prayer:*
I pray, every opportunity knocking at your door will not pass you by, the grace to recognize God's blessing in disguise, heaven will grant you in Jesus name. Amen.

*GREAT DEFENDER*

*Reading:* Deuteronomy 20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

*Message:* There will always going to be people in your life who misunderstand you and people who don’t like you. There will always be people who criticize you, judge you, attack you, and spread rumors about you.
When you are misunderstood, you’re going to have a tendency to get in there and defend yourself. When you’re attacked, your first reaction is often to attack back—just like the rest of us. When people criticize you, you want to criticize back. When people insult you, you want to insult them back.

Don’t do it! Let God be your defender. Every time you are under attack, criticized, put down, or misunderstood, you have two choices: You can defend yourself, or you can let God defend you. Which will it be? Who do you think can do a better job defending you? God can.

Proverbs 18:10 tells us that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that the righteous can always run to at any time and remain secure. The Almighty God is the security upon which one should base his life. These days when there is no nation that does not have its own share of the global security crises, it is certain that unless the Lord watches over you, you become vulnerable to the evil events flying around. God is the only guarantee and assurance of our faith; hence, you can be confident that you will always be delivered even in extreme circumstances. Sometimes, God will allow us to fall into a great calamity before He comes visiting. He does this just to reassure you that nothing is over until He says so. He wants us to have an evidence of His deliverance in our lives for future purposes.

*_Conclusion:_* Are you in any problem? Don’t worry, as long as you are righteous, you can be assured that help is on the way. He rules in the affairs of men to deliver the righteous from calamity. It doesn’t matter the magnitude of the problems confronting you, just believe that He is never late. He will stand by you during all the attacks of the enemies. All the lies and ganging up of the enemies against your life may be launched, but you will come out victorious because you have made the Lord your delight.

God will fight your battle for you and you shall hold your peace in Jesus name. Amen.
