In keeping to his campaign promises on provision of data support for our students in higher institutions, the Udumeze and President-General, National Association of Ohafia Students Worldwide, HRM Comr. Mba Uchenna Emmanuel has announced the commencement of the Data Support Programme.
The DSP which is aimed at providing data support to final year undergraduate students of Ohafia descent in Institutions of higher learning (Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, e.t.c), would commence on September 1, 2022.
This Programme is ONLY for those in final year, carrying out their research.
This is meant mainly to aid them in their assignments and research, and to subsidise the money they spend purchasing data for these purposes, which has become increasingly expensive.
The process would begin with the collation of names. However, due to the lingering strike in the nation's Federal Universities, students who are affected by the industrial action would not be part of the first phase. But as soon as the strike is over and normal academic activities resume on campus, they will be part of the second batch.
Once again, this Programme is for the final year students ONLY. Students who are in other levels need not apply.
Two final year students from each active NOAS-present Institution would be shortlisted and thereafter receive the data support.
NAOS Chapter leaders are hereby instructed to collate the names of final year students in their various chapters and forward same to the Office of the Chief Of Staff; Udumeze Awa Ikechukwu Ezra.
