"Sir, my prayer life is under attack. I am just unable to pray these days."

I receive calls like this often from believers who are serious about their prayer life.

"I try everything I can to pray, but I just feel weak and sleepy every time. The devil is attacking me," they often say.

But after engaging most of them, I find out that it is not any devil. It is the body that is tired, so the mind is weak.

So I say, "Bro, God does not eat your prayer. In the next three days, just worship and rest. Don’t wake up for midnight prayers. Sleep well."

And boom💥—the devil is gone 😄. And Bro is firing on again 💪💪🔥🔥🔥.

If you kill your body with stress, there’ll be nothing for the Spirit to use. Know when to just take it easy and REST 🛌.

Everything is not satan. Let’s stop making him look so powerful. Wisdom is profitable to direct.

Psalm 127:2 – "…for so He gives His beloved sleep."

Good sleep is not carnality.

I learned that the hard way.

Know when you need to rest 🛌.

It is far better and cheaper to rest your body than for your body to rest you 😔.

WHEN YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT BUT THE RESULTS ARE WRONG

You can do everything God asks you to do, exactly how He told you to do them, and the results may still look unpleasant. 😢

Moses's jealousy for God took him from the palace to the backside of the desert. 🤔

Joseph's fear of God sent him to prison. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Job's fear and reverence for God brought him to poverty, sickness, and utter reproach. 😭 It's better imagined than experienced.

When you check and see that there is no area where you have gone against instructions, yet the outcome is unpleasant, know that God is allowing a setback as a setup for a greater comeback. Examples: Moses, Joseph, and Job—all of whom saw a glorious latter end.

But note that people, especially those closest to you, must write you off during this period. "He was looking so promising; only God knows what went wrong."

Your Christian friends may also think that sin has brought this on you. 😊 "He has missed it somewhere."

This presents a great opportunity to see people as they truly are and to sift your relationships. Imagine Job and his friends after his restoration. 🤔

Moses came out a president.
Joseph came out a ruler.
Job came out greater.
You are coming out mightier! 💃🏿🏆🎖️ Just maintain your ways before God

Job.13.15 - Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

But also be vigilant and engage in spiritual warfare during this period. Satan is a specialist in turning waiting into wasting. Fight like your breath depends on it! Because it does 🔥🔥🔥

1Pet.5.8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
