Though the Ikwerre are generally considered by scholars as a subgroup of the Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria.
The Ikwerre’s are the largest ethnic group in Rivers state.
Ikwere, are not Igbo irrespective of language similarities.
His name is Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekiru.
