I used to try to be Good.
Good was my go-to in everything.

But Good got me nowhere.
Not like Truth.
Truth,
she tore me to shreds,
devoured me whole and spat me out shaking and new.

Truth keeps a box of matches in my pocket.
While Good made me afraid of transformative fire.

Truth keeps me real,
even if it makes everyone in the room uncomfortable.

And Truth,
unlike Good,
doesn't let me bow down to anything.

Truth doesn't let me give in to bullying, misguidance and fear-based criticism
or cowardice.

Truth is a queen and a humanitarian,
while Good,
she's a silent,
scared little sheep.

Truth knows that Good dulls my already radiant, fierce and loving soul.
Good showed me how to hide my wings,
my words and angel vision.

Truth taught me to be brave.
Truth taught me how to respect myself.
Truth allows me to hold impenetrable space for any story,
but first and foremost,
for my own.

And Truth,
well,
she changes everything,
and friend,
she's coming for you, too

I commend the security agencies for their determination to ensure that the election went on as smoothly as possible, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the successful conclusion of the exercise, despite the initial challenges encountered.

I look forward to working with him for the peace, security and development of Anambra State and the entire country.

HOW TO AVOID EMOTIONAL AFFAIR

Even if you are married to the best spouse in the whole world, if you do not guard your heart, you may end up _"falling in love"_ with someone aside your spouse and eventually ruin your
marriage.

No one gets married and plans to have an affair but lots of married men and women are into affairs today because they slept when they should have been wide awake with their five
senses alert.

1. Don't be too friendly with the opposite s*x.

This is where lots of married people land in trouble. Over-spirituality and pride will destroy your marriage! You can't handle close friendship with the opposite s*x as a married person. Your
heart is involved.
Set boundaries.
Be disciplined.
Be cordial.
Be respectful.
Be godly.
Be holy.

2. Don't share your personal problems with an opposite s*x friend.

It will bond you together. Problems bond people.

3. Don't contact any opposite s*x you are fond of.

If you secretly admire them, you are fond of them and there is a tingling in your heart at the mere thought of them, don't contact them.

4. Avoid unnecessary eye contact that lingers with the opposite s*x.

5. Don't tell an opposite s*x "you are romantic" or "s*xy"

That private information is for your spouse only.

6. Avoid discussions with the opposite s*x when you are tired, very sad, depressed, sorrowful, drowsy, sleepy or very sick.

This can becloud your judgment and make you say silly things. Talk to your husband/wife instead.

7. Avoid unnecessary compliment of the opposite s*x.

8. Stop saying, "I love you" to a member of the opposite s*x, for what?

9. Work on your marriage.

Keep the fire of love and romance alive in your marriage.

10. Protect your family.

Don't share your marital problems with your opposite s*x friend, it will bond you.

11. Never flirt with the opposite s*x.

12. Mind the pictures you post on the social media.

Limit pictures that show your curves or portray you as s*xy.

13. Do not contact any of your EXs after marriage.

14. Don't chat with the opposite s*x on the days you are h***y.

15. Stop focusing on your spouse's weaknesses and appreciate their strengths.

If you always see the bad side of your spouse, you will be angry, bitter, critical and look for someone who can
"understand" you and make you happy aside your spouse. That
is the beginning of an emotional affair and eventual s*xual affair.

It is the beginning of the end of a once glorious
marriage!

FLEE from all appearance of evil, is what the Bible says.

What you will not eat, don't bring it to your nose.

Don't smell it!

Don't start what you cannot finish!

Avoid all emotional and s*xual affairs, they will destroy your marriage!

May you not take a step that will lead to eternal regret in Jesus' name.

PLEASE, SEEK FOR THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT CALLED SELF CONTROL AND ALWAYS ANCHOR YOUR THOUGHTS ON Phil. 4:8.

GOD BLESS YOU

Let this message get to the Good Women Leader and Mens Fellowship Leader and let them share it on their various group platforms so all married men and women will get it.
Let them discuss it at their meetings.
The Lord will keep our homes, marriages and keep us pure to reign with Him in Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you...

GOVERNOR SANI BELLO OF NIGER STATE SIGNS TWO BILLS INTO LAW

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has signed two bills into law.

"A law to provide for the Niger State Violence Against Persons (prohibition) Law and for other connected matters thereto" and "a Law to provide for Premarital Medical Examination in Niger State 2020."

Governor Sani Bello performed the constitutional duties at the Government House, Minna Niger State.

Speaking after the signing of the bills Governor Sani Bello described the two laws as significant.

The Governor noted that with the two
laws particularly the law on Gender Based Violence Against Persons, all relevant agencies and committees connected with gender based issues will now have a legal backing in carrying out their responsibilities.

He appreciated the State House of Assembly Members for critically looking into the bills to ensure that they passed through all the necessary legislative procedures.

The bill to provide for the Niger State Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) law and for other connected matters, which he said will help curb the increasing cases of Gender Based Violence in the state, was sponsored by Hajiya Binta Mamman, Member Representing Gurara Constituency in the Assembly.

Shaibu Liman Iya, Member Representing Suleja Constituency sponsored the bill to provide for Pre-marital Medical Examination in Niger State 2020, aimed at ensuring that all necessary pre-marital examinations are carried out before marriage in the state.

HUSBAND SCARCITY...

This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretations, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to Mosques, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern.

Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home.

Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity" for ourselves.

Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem.

You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man." What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small.

The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity".

Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity.

The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man Almighty Allฤh made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM.

For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bo***ge. Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS... DON'T CONFUSE A MAN'S PATH WITH HIS DESTINY. Where he is today, may only be a route to where Allฤh has destined him to be tomorrow.

Another truth is that YOU MAY BE THE ONLY FAST MEANS TO THAT HIS DESTINATION. Join in alleviating "husband scarcity". PICK UP THE RIGHT VALUES. I am not saying that you should pick anyone that comes your way and talks of marriage, not all men are husband materials.

What I am saying is that you should stop setting your standard on material acquisitions or physical appearances. Look beyond the physical. WHAT MAKES A MAN WHO HE IS, IS NOT WHAT HE OWNS OR HOW HE LOOKS, IT IS WHAT HE IS MADE UP OF. And that which he is made of is, most times, not seen with the physical eyes, only its effects can be seen.

Marriage is a permanent thing. Whatever is seen is temporal and that which is not seen is permanent.

Indeed, good women are for good men.

May Allฤh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) bless all muslim women with righteous husbands.
