MEET BENUE VARSITY GRADUATE WHO HAWKS FISH IN MAKURDI FOR SURVIVAL.

Unongu Kelvin is a graduate of Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi and a corporate fish seller in Makurdi.

Kelvin sells around the Judges Quarters area of Makurdi, the state capital and he happily does it with joy.

He has employed himself and by his grace, the business is moving fine. This should be a kind of motivation for young men out there who have been waiting for jobs for years without seeing one.

BSU FINALLY IMMORTALIZED FR ADASU BY BUILDING A BEAUTIFUL STATUE OF HIM ON THE CAMPUS ROUND ABOUT.

This is worthy of recommendation from Prof Iorapuu and his team.
Late Rev Fr Adasu was elected the second Executive Governor of Benue State on 2 January 1992. He was said to have had a positive impact on conditions during his 1½-year term.

Below are some of his Achievement's as the Executive Governor of Benue State for one and a half year:

1. He founded Benue State University on 27 December 1991.

2. He reactivated and upgraded the College of Education, Oju.

3. He conceived the concept of the Tarka Foundation, named after Senator Joseph Sarwuan Tarka and launched on 2 July 1992.

The foundation's building occupies five hectares of land in Makurdi and includes an art gallery, conference rooms, recreational centers and chalets.

4. BENCO Roof Tiles Company,Abinsi.

5. Benue Fruit Juice Company Katsina Ala.

6. Benue Yam Flour Company Zaki Biam

7. In 1992,he connected makurdi to the 132kv national grid of electricity.

All this was achieved by one man from Mbaamena, Awajir, Shangev-Tiev, Konshisha LGA.

Late Rev Fr Adasu said that politics is not a dirty game, but those who are in it for selfish reasons make it dirty.

He said "I am in politics to baptise politics and make it pure".

He was removed from office when General Sani Abacha came to power in November 1993, replaced by Group Captain Joshua Obademi.

In the Nigerian Fourth Republic Adasu was appointed a member of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in January 2001.

He resigned from the ICPC in June 2002 to reenter politics.
With all this achievements, the man has not been immortalized anywhere like the likes of Aper Aku, JS Tarka and the rest. Not even a single hostel block was named after him in the same university he founded.
Adasu died on 20 November 2005. After his death, Benue State University conferred an honorary doctorate degree on him.

On October 20, 2001, Men of the Nigerian army came to Benue State and called a meeting with the locals of Sankera axis and claimed it was to discuss about the killing of a military man in the crisis between Tiv people and the Jukun people of Taraba state.

Our Tiv people gathered massively thinking an end to the ongoing crisis has come. The Military asked the women and children to go home.

After the women left, the soldiers asked the men to sit down so they can discuss on the way forward.

The Army now opened fire on the innocent civilians and killed up to 500 people after three days of sustained attacks on the Tiv communities in the region.

It’s been 21 years and the thought of it is still like a fresh wound to us.

Today we remember them as we pray for them as well.
Meanwhile, Obasanjo was the president.

I will convince Obi truthfully and he will see clearly that once this app is launched we should be at least talking of controlling a population of people, we grow globally relevant and make billions because of the global acceptance.
I tried talking to a few persons into partnering or investing in it but the responses are not encouraging because of a lot of reasons which are mostly financial and I understand.
There no way if I have 5 minutes with Obi Cubana and he will not queue in to this idea.
Please if anyone knows how you can make Obi Cubana listen to me about this app, I carry God beg you, help me tell am. You can help by sharing or tagging him.

MAN RUN MAD AFTER KILLING MYSTERIOUS MAN'S GOAT IN BENUE.

You all remember the story of this our mysterious BENUE man that is moving about with 7 goats all following him right? Jejelly, one uncle weh no deh hear goat go kill one of his goat in Anyiin-logo LGA of Benue where he was a couple of weeks ago and the man is running mad as I typed.

In serious pains, the baba gave his goat a very befitting burial and has angrily left the town with his remaining 6 goats.
When some persons requested that the goat be made available for consumption, baba turned them down. He simply said anyone who cooks or eat his dead goad will be doing so at his/her own peril.

Questions: who really is this man? Where has he got these goats from? What is his mission?
I am still the grand commander of Tiv youths GCTY and I write this afternoon from Konshisha.
