Morning greetings to great Aspirants of this prestigious institution, Master Sanctus Philip is here again to bring to ur door steps this great and vital information to you.

* Aspirants should all Rejoice as the week of congratulations on both the jamb and school portal has finally comes, the long awaited week.
This is to inform you all that names will be uploaded on the school portal this week beginning from today and payment of acceptance fee will start immediately your name is uploaded.

to check your name on the school portal

* Go to your Google chrome and type www.uam.edu.ng.com
* After it's opens click on admission status
* Insert your reg number and click on check
* Boom if your name is uploaded at the moment, you will see congratulations.
* Then from there you have reached the limit of acceptance fee payment, pls don't try paying it yourself, if you can go to the bank fine, but before you go to the bank you must generate rrr number from any nearby cafe, Or if you don't want to stress yourself I advise you, if you are close or Nearby to school, just take a walk to PRESTIGE ICT NETWORK JOSTUM ,it's located at South core, multipurpose hall 5 towards the school hostel in South core. Or pls if you think it's a distance, wait, even the day of your screening you can do it when you come or better still contact me for proper direction or kindly dm Peter Success he the CEO of PRESTIGE ICT NETWORK JOSTUM.

*Again I will be doing a free checking of admission status both on School portal and Jamb caps for those who doesn't have data and for those who don't know how to check.

NEW MONTH AND INDEPENDENCE COMPLIMENTS.

Many months comes and go but this month stand a chance for better celebration,it's a month our dear country Nigeria was freed from the hands of the British and becomes independent. Today Nigeria celebrate 61 years of being a Nation and republic. Today we all have to wish Nigeria a happy birthday..
Therefore I wish you all the compliments of this day,1st October 2021.

Dear 2020/2021 Aspirants
Your month of happiness,joy and peace has come, the month of resumption, a month you all should keep in mind.

Both fresher's and returning Student should rejoice as a proposed acedemic calendar for 2020/2021 session is released.the acedemic calendar is scheduled as follows:
1. Monday 11th to 22nd October, registration for fresh Student.(2 weeks)
2. Monday 25th to 29th October fresher's orientation
3. 24th October, all returning Student resume on campus.
4. 25th October to 17 December for lectures ( 8 weeks)
5. 18th December, Christmas break.
6. 8th January, lectures continues ( 2 weeks)

# 2020/2021 Aspirants should await uploading of names on the school portal as from Monday 4th October 2021 and Acceptance fee payment Begins immediately as there is no time.

For those who are yet to be admitted or has not seen AIP on their caps should rush to the admission office room 11 on Monday ,4th 0ctober 2021 for verification.
For those with AIP for such a long time especially Direct entry Students are advised to please stay calm as congratulations will reach all of you before your screening.

The admission process is finally coming to a stage of acceptance into the university, Aspirants I advise you to all be wise, open your eyes and stay connected to informations for better understanding.

🇳🇬 NIGERIA AT 61, HOW FAR WE HAVE GONE AND THE WAY FORWARD🇳🇬

The journey of our nationhood began 61 years ago when the Union Jack flag was lowered for the Green White Green flag to be hoisted🇳🇬. This took place on the 1st of October making the day to be declared as “INDEPENDENT DAY” and this has been a normal ceremony every year where the sitting president delivers his independent day speech and tell us why we should remain as one loving Country.

But my question is *”as a country at 61, have we really achieved anything that is worth this celebration, if no, why did we cry for freedom?*
let’s leave theories and face practical.

To me, at 61🇳🇬; we are yet to have a leader who hears the voice of his subjects and attend to them, we are yet to find our bearings of economic development, political stability, secured life and properties, peace, unity and HARMONY, religious freedom, food security, human development, instead ..

what we see is increased in *crime rates,* killings of innocent souls, *fulani herdsmen tormenting our farmers, *poor infrastructures etc

We are known as the giant of Africa but we still cannot provide effective leadership, quality medical facilities, quality road facilities, quality housing scheme, quality education, employments to her teeming populations,
At 61🇳🇬, our country still remains one of the most corrupt Nations on the planet.

*At 61🇳🇬, should I say that we are doomed or failed as a nation?*
The effect of this national failure is that, while other countries put food on the table for their citizens, give hope to their citizens, protect their citizens and develop their abundant resources for economic growth and development which affect the lives of the citizens, our own country is still crawling behind.
We are still fighting the same war since independent.

*How did we get here?*
At 61🇳🇬 years down the line, we still grapple gigantically in the dark with an unending lists

I wish to encourage you all to stay calm and stay close to information and our updates here so as not to miss out, the process will be rush as the school set to resume and your screening exercise begins in no distance time( 2 weeks) from now probably.

The Dean of Students affairs Prof Aboiyar Terhemen has called to inform that the Hostel application shall include applicants but Applicants shall only be eligible to apply after their final stage of screening and documentation exercise not at the moment.

*Important update for 2020/2021 Aspirants*
The admission process on caps is gradually coming to an end and the admission process on school portal will soon begin.
This is to inform you all that the admission process of school portal will be rush and I hereby advice Aspirants to prepare financially and physical to face the screening exercise after school release her list.
Here are the screening criteria.
1) Admission letter
2) State of origin
3) Birth certificate or declaration of age.
4) Your signed olevel during first screening.
5) Jamb original result.
6). Acceptance letter.
7). Acceptance payment confirmation slip.
8). Post utme payment confirmation slip.
9) passport photograph( 16) minimum
10) Dress responsible and on low cut.

But before they second screening, there will be an admission list that will be release on the school portal for all those admitted on Jamb caps.

Always remember, if you are yet to gain on jamb portal, or yet to see admission in progress, visit admission room 11 for verification.

Title: Life of our students nowadays.

Our University students has nothing to write home about after graduation.
It's an error to school for four to five years without knowing nothing. The inscription that's say " We pass through school but school no pass through us" is what Nigerian students prefer, after several years we return home as a young people who has no impact on the society.
We come to learn not just learning but learn something good, imagine Nigerian students of today speaking English that has no meaning, we learn slangs, and dirty English instead of learning good English.
Am speaking with respect to the current Episode trending in our campuses tilted "Selina Tested". This episode is embrace by Nigerian students and everything turn around.
It will be a great error of going back home after graduation with such English.
We receive lectures in Gst but we pay no attention to it,all we do speak is pigin "Ago" such a shame on Nigerian students.
I stand here today to challenge all Nigerian students to turn back and concentrate on their studies.
Nigeria will never be a better place if the youth are not responsible, your priority should be what to take home.
Concentrate on your studies and make your book your number 1 friend.
Don't look at what you see today, look at the future,your greatness is In your hands, improve on your vocabulary everyday,learn new things day in day out,take correction and be humble.

*THE STUDENTS UNION CARES ABOUT YOUR WELL-BEING*

It is obvious and evident that the welfare of great makurdians is our ultimate priority and concern,which is why the Student union shall continue to represent your interest at the highest peak.
The students union through the office of the Sales and welfare sectaries had a meeting with the Traffic Unit executives and made the following resolutions for the interest and well-being of all great makurdians..
It was resolved that:
1.all students riding bike on campus should posses their I.D cards for clear identification.
2. that all students returning from break should not sit on bikes that the riders(Okada) did not wear the Reflective Jacket; with effect from Friday 25th onwards.
3. that all Okada riders that did not posses the Reflective Jackets shall not be allowed passage at the school gate.
4. that prices remaind 100Naira from SRS to School and 50naira (per person) within the campus
5. that all Students should adhere to the directives mentioned above..

Always know that our policies and resolutions will always continue to be at your favour and interest because we care about you..

Note, all lecture time tables of various college and departments are been released on daily basis and college of veterinary medicine started her lecture since Monday, Students yet to resume from different colleges should try and do so,the student Union cares..
